Marisa's original Japanese speech-pattern is a mix a typal male speech pattern and a typical neutral/female speech pattern. This means she speaks pretty roughly for a girl, and that should be translated as such when translated into English. Now adding the occasional "da ze" to the end of your sentences is one speech-knack included in many male speech-patterns, but when translated into English keeping the "da ze" (even though it's Japanese) is just silly. Instead, it should be localized. And even so, Marisa does not use it THAT often, even though it happens.

What I usually see (besides adding ", ze." to every sentence) is giving her a sort of country accent, which sounds kind of strange.
