Is it wrong to name my children Saki and Akagi if we don't live in Japan?

It would be wrong to name your children Saki and Akagi even if you lived in Japan.

No. But for their sake, give them some middle names, won't you?

It wouldn't be wrong if you threw them into a criminal den at the age of six and told them the only way they would get their lives back and not be sold is to win at mahjong.

Why is it so wrong to give children unique names? If your name is not something generic like John or Stacy, people always look funny at you. Why? Why?

There is nothing wrong with giving children unique names. At the place I work at, we have, I kid you not, four girls named emily. Its fucking ridiculous. At least give your generic named children a different spelling like emlee or somthin jesus.

I am a Michael. I don't think I have ever been in a building that did not contain at LEAST one other Michael, usually five.

This does tend to lead to people using a nickname instead, and then I get odd looks from others who assume it's my real name.

Saki. Well all the girls will make fun of her. "SAKI!-SAKI!-SAKI! DICK FIVE DOLLA."
Your daughter will hate you, she will run away and marry a bad boy who will impregnant her with his sperm 4 times then leave her. Best you name her Taco instead.

That's because it's not a valid way of spelling it. There are so many goddamn variations of Michael, why can't people get it wrong by picking one instead of by just being plain wrong?

More people spell my first name wrong than my last.

unique names are nice because then your children might actually get called by that name in school etc, I was called "mushroom" (in my language of course) for 3 years or so. and my name is pretty generic.

As long as you don't name your kids something ridiculous like so many celebs do then go for it. Names from other languages are perfectly fine.

Also make sure your kid doesn't live to regret it and you don't do some fucking idiotic redneck shit and join two names together with a hyphen.

You know, I bet an avarage black metal fun is scared of wolves. I myself really like Japanese wolves. Wolves are considered gods in Japan. In shinto, one of the most important god is a wolf. Wolves are extinct in Japan, seeing one means great luck! Back in Old Japan, people would pray to the wolf gods, so that they(the wolves) would come and kill the animals eating their crops. Wolves were also breed by Shinto priests to rent out to farmers, After the 1905(the year wolves became extinct) The fox became the sole hunter of small animals (rabbits and such), but it was not enough, rabbits infested many japanese forests. Many japanese people are considering to bring Wolves from other asian country to reduce this problem. That is all, now that you know how important the wolf is in Japanese culture, whenever you see one, wish it good luck.

Even though this is stale, if I recall Japanese myth has werewolves that act as messengers for mountain gods, but they go crazy and start killing people when they drink polluted water, so Japan would be pretty fucked if they were around.

And then there was that fucking flying wolf.
