Hi, /jp/.

It's my first post here, I generally lurk on /v/.

I'm pretty sure that you guys get this question a lot around here, but I will ask again:

Is there some kind of way to learn japanese via internet? Like some guide/course or something like that. I don't have time to go to a japanese school because of college, and I don't want to go because of the possible "baka blond gaijin" reception.

Thanks in advance.

Any decent college will have a japanese language course.

Well, mine (aside our native language) has English, French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese, but no Japanese.

Kanji will destroy your soul and I wouldn't recommend even trying to learn it.

If you don't learn kanji, you can't read untranslated VNs, so why would you even learn japanese in the first place?

You can teach yourself the language but your oral skills will probably be left lacking. That doesn't matter because you want to read eroge, right?

Don't expect instant gratification. It takes a long while to get familiar with a language and your persistence will be tested.

Now go away.

Well, I want to learn it cause I think that japanese is a very interesting language, different from the western ones. Seriously.
