I'm sort of a NEET. No friends, afraid of social interaction, freeleeching off my dad's transferred benefits and failing every class I'm in because I'm too afraid to leave my room. My roommates are very sexually open and it sort of scares me; I try to avoid both of them as much as possible. Fine, I'll start. I haven't always been socially awkward. I used to drink heavily and snort coke so I had no problem being sociable. 4 years ago the coke addiction got to be a problem so I quit and I've become significantly less extroverted. It doesn't help that I turned to my hobbies (typical /jp/ shit) more which only lends itself to isolating more. I've grown accustomed to spending most of my free time by myself and I like it... but my social skills are taking a serious nose dive. Don't know if I care either.

Maybe if I could find an easy way to scare them so I could just avoid the battle altogether it might be better. Then winter comes and I freeze to death on my mountain of doom. Archery is another option, then you can fashion your own ammunition. I've never tried taking down a bear with my bow but something like a deer is easy enough with practice. You could use leftover deer meat to distract the bears while you make a getaway.

I don't know man, bears are pretty brutal. I'm pretty sure it'd be mauling me to death with even 20 arrows lodged in it. Maybe I could set up a little fort around a cave and use that to bar out the wild animals. If it was crafted well enough it just might be able to hold.
