I rather enjoyed Final Wars, but was sad that there would not be any more Godzilla movies. ;__:

I've been a fan since seeing the original black and white movie as a little guy. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say Godzilla was my hero.
Is it true he is supposed to be a personification of the Atomic Bomb?

I was watching some monster clips on Youtube yesterday. I realized I would probably enjoy watching Godzilla movies and other monster movies. I don't know why but they fill me with some sort of childlike excitement, the more weird and "creepy" they try to make the monster, the better. It's a strange feeling, some sort of awe and thought that "as I kid I would find this monster soooo scary!"

They're merely taking a hiatus until 2014 ish, but I'm not sure how many reboots I can take. If they remade the 1st one while retaining the same sense of fear the original had, that'd be pretty nice.
