If you go to war with Ashikaga, Hara will declare war on you.
If you go to war either Uesugi or Houjo, Takeda declares war on the other.
If you go to war with either Tanegashima or Akashi, Mouri declares war on the other.
If you conquer Asai-Asakura and don't recruit Yukihime, she will FUCK YOU UP.
If you aren't at war with anyone, Uesugi will fix that for you. And if you survive long enough, they'll declare war even if you're fighting someone else.

Asai Asakura normally goes on the path to warring with you if you invade and gain control of Tenshi sect before Honnouji in my experience. Other than that, I have never had Asai attack me for anything. And I've lasted for 200 plus turns in almost all my games.
