Ghosting is the blur you see on moving objects. For example, move your mouse around and look at how blurry it becomes.
And yes, the difference in black levels between a CRT and a LCD is huge. In fact, a LCD can't really show true blacks at all because of how it works. It uses a backlight that's always turned on. When it tries to show black the liquid crystals will block as much light as possible, which results in something more like dark gray because there is still light bleeding through. On the other hand a CRT can show true black because it doesn't use a backlight, but fires electrons at phosphor-coated glass which in turn emits light. This enables it to show true blacks by not firing electrons on pixels that are supposed to be black.

Countless reasons. Hell, even if your head is centered on your LCD perfectly the sides are still being viewed at an angle.

You can't lie down or be slightly to the side of it without shitty viewing angles ruining the picture to some extent. With a CRT you can look at it from any possibly bodily position and still get a perfect picture.

Not true. Some get close with tricks like blank frame insertion, but they're very expensive and have poor picture quality due to being TN panels. And they don't have true blacks either.

True, there's different kinds of backlights, but backlight is backlight. The best you can do is dim it when displaying large dark areas. This is called "dynamic contrast". It's very annoying in practice because the brightness changes constantly and even then you don't really get true blacks, just very dark grays.

Sure. Picture looks better on CRT, but I prefere my 1920x1200 resolution. My old CRT is still working though. It's not sharp anymore and has some blueish cornors though.
