To be completely honest Wily Beast is super morally gray, but the idea of Mayumi opressing humans has really no basis. The beast spirits are described as being unable to harm material objects yet Yachie and Saki are more than able damage the player character in Touhou 17 and animal spirits in Touhou 19 can damage any of the player character, so that's BS.

Zun really isn't the most consistent writer, and if he were seriously pleading sympathy for literal enslaving demons he would have seriously lost the plot.

You can like characters and acknowledge that they are complex or morally gray or sometimes wrong or take things too far. Ultimately what went down in Primate Spirit Garden, however it went down, was the result of the ruthless opression by animal spirits.

And writing inconsistencies aside and questionable grey morality here I’d still side with Mayumi and her cool art mom goddess in most cases. After all, if desperate human spirits can conjure the latter up, then I think they could shape things for the better given time, focus, and effort. At least more so compared against the animal spirits that forced this whole thing in the first damn place.

A silly concept for a doujin I've thought about would be if the animal spirits try to possess her hollow form and fail, but still inside her cavity they use their combined energy to make her a lightning rod for indiscriminate animal lust. Mayumi can't do shit about it herself, so she winds up on a mission to get back to Keiki while defusing every lusty encounter creatively and shamelessly. Like imagine her trying to speedrun orgasms by using her haniwa to nonchalantly stimulate prostates.

After getting back to the Primate Spirit Garden, Keiki decides a fitting solution is to make her a futa with the animal spirits stored in the balls, and a Kofun Womb Tattoo. She then sends her off on a quest to inoculate the Animal Realm's corporeal occupants with the spirits of their ancestors - causing mass unwanted lewd possessions. That she feels no sensation from it (transferred to the blue-balled spirits) and emotionlessly cums on command adds to the absurdity.

It really would. I’d imagine Keiki’s would be soft, warm, and even a bit maternal while Mayumi’s would be firmer and more enthusiastic and with a protectionist sort of edge to it. Like she would hold you a bit closer even for a hug and not let go so soon.

Assuming this was a firerate of 1 shot per second, each shot would contain 4MJ of energy each, 2 shots per second would have 2MJ each and so on.
