let's talk about your favourite Japanese horror movies.
What have you been watching recently?

the most recent was Under the Blossoming Cherry Trees (1975), although it is not exactly a horror film in the sense implied by 'J-Horror'
it was certainly a unique experience and well worth watching

my top rec however is Freeze Me (2000), which while also not a typical J-Horror experience I personally found to be very effective in producing the subtly disturbed and discomforted emotional state that enjoyers of J-Horror somehow find pleasurable
