So I try this out and get a BAD END on my first go didn't have hatesex with Fal. Then I decided to try Torta's route and got another fucking BAD END (not even sure how, I stuck with all her choices from start to finish and was surprised at how much shorter it was than Fal's, still haven't gotten her good end...)

This happens to me with every fucking VN I play. I always get BAD ENDs first. I don't use guides and just pick the choices that I would pick normally if I was in the main character's shoes.

Yume Miru Kusuri had me going through Mizuki's route about 3 times before I realized the wrong choice wasn't something obvious.

;_; Tell me there's someone else out there like this. I always get a BAD END on my first playthrough of a VN (save Saya no Uta, but then again there's no real "bad end" in that).

But I don't know, it's always one choice that isn't obvious and ends up screwing me up.

Tsugumi (Ever17) - Picking "I know" for the part where she wants to teach you about something.

Fal (Symphonic Rain) - "Please...just stop..." because I didn't want to yell at her, because if I was Chris I wouldn't be mad at her for setting up that elaborate ploy to get close to me. I'd be happy actually...

Mizuki (YMK) - Held myself back from cumming...

I first chose not to yell at Fal but I realized right after that it was probably the wrong decision so I loaded my save and went with the other one. Even though the hate sex seemed like it would lead to a bad end Symphonic Rain has so few CGs that I didn't think they'd waste some on bad ends.

ARI SEES YOUR PERFORMANCE IN SECRET AND YOU TAKE A RIDE WITH HER BACK HOME AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER! - Actually, I thought Ari was kinda suspicious and was thinking this was really Torta. She insisted that you don't go to her house, Ari never mentioned she would come in the letters, and the whole ending scene seemed awkward with Ari asking Chris if he loved her and then kissing. Right when I was thinking: "Watch this shit hit the fan when Chris goes back home to see Ari and realize that Torta tricked him!" only to get a kick in the balls and be sent back to the title screen.

Yeah, it was only after I got her good end that I realized a main point in Fal's route is that it shows Chris gets more emotional when he's with Fal, and stops pussying around with half-assed answers. On top of that, his music plays better when he has conflicting motions.

Maybe I should stop playing these based on my own personal decisions.
