I think that some misconception is going around in /jp/, that every attention whore is a troll.

But that is wrong. that is true that nowdays every troll is attention whore (skilled trolls just let people flame each other, but those do not exist on /jp/) but that is not the other way around.

trolls post to annoy people. they don't do it for personal reasons, i.e. revenge and such, they just want to annoy.

attention whores just want attention. nothing wrong with that, in itself.

tl;dr attention whores != trolls, stop flaming poor and ronery people.
