The actual problem is that she doesn't give a fuck about anime, she used her sudden popularity only as a stepping stone for her mainstream 3DPD career but eventually failed and now tries to milk her old roles as much as possible to upkeep her living standards.
Too bad she is super good at voice acting and singing, seeing her as a token random female tarento in third-rate variety shows back in mid 2010's was pretty sad when she had the potential to become the next Hayashibara.

She mostly does theater these days and she prefers that over anime. She also does some live action roles. She still does anime also, she plays one of the regular characters in Anpanman (which is a big role), and she appears in other series as well - one anon noted she was in Akiba Maid War. She has also reprised the role of Haruhi for advertisements, like this one

And FYI, they're teasing a new anime. A new book was announced, a new symphonic concert was announced, a big convention thing for the series was announced that they're currently selling tickets for, and at the yearly airing of the movie they said to keep an eye on the website for major news. There is literally nothing else it could be besides an anime, and KyoAni has a nearly empty slate and hasn't announced what they're working on.
