Era games are a group of (usually) Japanese-developed text porn games.
They’re not exclusively related to the Touhou franchise, but it’s one of the series with the most era games.

▶How to play?
Run anchor.exe (or Emuera, depending on the game), Japanese locale is advised so you don’t run into untranslated text.
If you wish to manually update, delete old files aside the sav and dat folders to avoid any bugs.

▶Tips
If you’d like to either edit or add your own portraits, the files are located within the ‘resources’ folder in webp format. You can use paint.net to edit them.

If you can into China, there's a Chinese version of GvT that focuses more on the 'human scum' side of the game as an additional danger. You could use that as a reference point on how to add or expand a new mechanic into GvT. But otherwise what GvT really needs is more minor tentacle mobs, really.

Otherwise if you're feeling real ambitious, you can always develop the so-called 'third faction' that the devs were working on, the angels that are also fighting tentacles but is also hostile to magical girls.

You can do pretty much whatever you want with adepts via skill cards so it really depends on the character and if they learn anything special naturally. I think for half demons the best way is to get high end gear and make builds based off what skills those give? Like I know they can get some strong physical options so I'd probably go that route.

In that case it depends on what you want to do. Any of the the ones that learn Third Eye are decent bases for a physical attacker if you card over high crit moves like Megidocross(from gilgamesh) and stack it with advice. Armchair detective gets both that and shield of protection which is useful. Nomal detective gets maha analyze which is even better than shield but no third eye. Dilettante gets a row hitting slash attack that breaks slash resistances before hitting. Gunfighter is probably the strongest pure attacker of the options. Most of the other options can be replicated with skill cards pretty easily or aren't that amazing to begin with. It's just a matter of what you want to do.

One of my goals with this rework is to make hypnosis not hilariously overpowered, and being able to fuck girls as soon as you meet them just by getting a good Common Sense Alteration roll is pretty damn overpowered. Maybe I'll just raise the needed power some more.

First-timer/low NG+? (Not so) Joke answer: Ditch everything and go Devil summoner, aim for 2 GEs then start as an Expert Sword Saint with Boxer subclass (for passive HP/MP regen), spam Pralaya till you've reached lv100+, grab the "Level carries on to next playthrough," play around with whatever class you want. You probably won't go above level ~80 on your first playthrough so you should take the DMC and DeviColo ending since those are one of the easier endings that has no level-scaling gimmick, not to mention how you can just relegate any Devil Summoner/COMP task to DeviColo's heroine on further playthrough since she's got Rank 5 Devil Summoner.
But yeah, as the other anon said before, you can just learn skills if you're playing Adepts, at any rate your MC will have an overabundance of Magnetite to spend but not enough to enhance your stats desu. Though, If you're like me and would much prefer to spam shit up, get the Gunslinger class since they have Pierce at lv 45 and use whatever physical skills you want.

Should've gone to DemiKids first dungeon if you're not playing Devil Summoner or at your first playthrough, it'll give you Lv30 Ares and Lv40 Thor for ~15 minutes of IRL playtime at the casino alongside a free Devil Summoner character. You'd need to create a lot of things from the ground up or deal with the game pretty much following it's own rules instead of doing what you want with how spaghettified a lot of it's codebase is. If you don't want to just add stuff/change an existing game, and you have the know how, in all honesty you'd just be better off working on another engine. -Bell, turning all blocks into plain 'white' blocks. This could in turn function similarly to a 'guard break' for every flavor of resistance to make things easier.

-Black Block, the Immovable Block. When used, creates a barrier that blocks multiple attacks before being destroyed
-White Block, the easily moved blocks. When used, creates a temporary barrier that blocks one attack.

-Energy Drink: In the original, this lets you climb 2 blocks high instead of just one. Potentially, this could be used as a recovery and buff item, granting the target health back and a boost to their Evasion.
-Power Drink: Same as the one before, but better with its 3-block jumping power. Could be a full heal and a major boost to evasion and defense, allowing for better survival.

-Bible: The powerful all-smiting item. Originally, this thing unleashed a storm of lightning that obliterated every enemy on screen. This time, it feels more appropriate to turn to Almighty damage so it can potentially deal incredible damage and/or try for an instant kill on various lesser enemies.

and for Slot 8 of Vincent's items... I was thinking the door. The door that obliterates the nightmare, to be specific. Unleashes an even more powerful blast of Almighty damage, especially if the enemy is immune to Dying. Locked behind a very, very long cooldown to simulate the uphill climb to the top of the tower, and the sweet taste of victory surviving the entire ordeal.

Besides that, probably tack on four other skills to keep Vincent alive. Endure/Enduring Soul, Regenerate S/M/L, and more to come.

Considering he's a No MP Character who runs off cooldowns, I think the only concern I should have is him getting ahold of a weapon like Awakened Gungnir that has innate pierce, or items that can help him kick all forms of ass. Because even as a fool, he's managed to kill the ruler of whatever hell he was sent to in his True Chaos ending using nothing but a shortsword. So he's capable, if extremely lucky and extremely fast.
