Is playing Touhou supposed to make me suicidally depressed?

Whenever I fail in it, I recall how I fail at everything I try or have tried to do. Musical instruments, sports, jobs....I remember every single one of my failures because of Touhou. Touhou crushes me. It beats me down and spits on my half dead body. But I can't stop playing.

Is this normal?
