I kinda want to replay morrowind, but the graphics really, really turn me off.

The combat and dialogue system are also quite suck compared to oblivion.

My main problem with going back is how static everything feels. After playing Oblivion with everyone moving around, having schedules, etc it's hard to go back to Morrowind.

In most games today, the illusion of choice is really shallow because you easily recall a save and start anew. I think this way you'd actually you'd actually weigh the choices you make with much more thought given their finality, and overall makes the experience more personal and immersive.

I don't think that's fair. It's hard to tell what the choices will even do a lot of the time, as sometimes the way they are presented to you is not accurate representation of what they actually do.

True, but that's all part of the experience. It'd force the player to live with the choices he makes regardless of the outcome, which is something I don't think many games have really explored.
