- There are 9 new ships. 3 as rewards (Shirakumo, Inagi, Nevada, and Rodney), 5 as drops (Salmon, Asashi, Kaiboukan 22, C.Cappellini, and JAVelin)
- Another round of summer CGs have been enabled. Haruna K2 B/C and Shigure K3 have new CGs.
- August ranking rewards have been distributed. They are the Hedgehog (Initial Model), AU-1, F4U-2 Night Corsair, and the 38cm Quadruple Gun Mount Kai Deux
-Amatsun has received her Kai-II. It requires level 73, 1BP, and 1AR.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to critical DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures will remain until further notice. EN EO now bypasses the block. On my second day of E7 and just finished P3. It's been pretty easy so far with only 7, 5, and 7 runs for P1, P2, and P3. I'm mostly following Zekamashi, but Kiton's fleets also seem usable.
One thing I wouldn't use from Kiton's guide is their LBAS choice of sending everything at the boss. If you have a decent NagaMutsu and Nelson setup, you can get day kills at the boss nodes regularly without needing all 3 bases. For pre-LD on P3, I even deviated from Zekamashi and only had one base sent to the boss. The second base was doing ASW and third was split betwen K and O.
The boss fleets so far have just appeared challenging. P2 and P3 LD looked like they would take multiple attempts, but they both ended up needing only 1. I don't think it's luck but the crazy amounts of bonus stacking there is on this map.
Hopefully the rest of E7 goes this smoothly.

I think the main problem is that we went from both meta ships (Nelson, Yahagi) and FFs being surplus bonus for late, lazy or weak players and "OHKO ez free map clear" cards to "Wanna hard clear without being 99FCM ranker and don't have enough yahagi dupes? Yeah about that..."

I wrote >>44581460 earlier and now I'm at E7 Debuff. E7P4 also pretty easy and needed only 6 runs. P5 guage took me 16 runs with Nelson. Up until P5, getting to the boss nodes has been pretty easy. Node U has sent me back in close to half my my runs. I did a couple runs at LD without debuff to see if I could get lucky and got her down to 400HP twice. So overall, pretty smooth until P5 if you've got the right bonuses and touches.

Well, it's just my experience, but the boss after the TP is a real PITA.
The boss itself seems very tanky, even Green T I wasn't able to kill her, might just be my TCIs not triggering tbf, but she was also chuuha and I had multiple ships in the green. Which wouldn't be an issue if the route itself wasn't cancerous too.
Though admittedly I just didn't want to bust out the route/node support for it, it might go better if you can ASW support the sub node which for laughs likes to give you 3 taihas at a time.
Ultimately I just didn't want to bother for fucking E4.

Pretty mediocre run but Prinz Chiyo saved it. The route and the boss had been pretty annoying this time and LD took ~40 runs and cost me ~50k fuel. I liked having DA on Gotland and Teste. Scratch damage from their DA's on Rodney sometimes does more damage than a cutin from Iowa.
I don't recall seeing any big crits from Asashimo or Shigure and should have changed one of them to OASW. Shigure repeatedly did sub 100 cutins.
Saving Jervis to use here would have really helped. The historical bonus would have been massive at 1.757 compared to Shigure's 1.238.
