Yuyuko (or maybe Yuko, I don't know. The name might be a fanon invention) had some sort of vaguely specified relationship with Yukari. Yuyuko went and killed herself to seal off the old soul eating tree. Yukari had a fit and for some equally vaguely specified reason went and raised her as a ghost princess.

Yuyuko is most likely not her original name, as it almost literally means "ghost girl", as ghosts supposedly make yuu~ yuu~ sounds.
