I'm playing it, but I'll need to play more before I give you my opinion.
Right now, it feels good to play, but in a mindless button masher kind of way. You run from encounter to encounter, annihilate your foes and move on. This might change as I progress with the game and it gets harder.
The gear system is mostly just annoying, since it forces me to menu and make meaningless decisions such as "do I want damage or crit" where I don't know the underlying math and the game is super easy regardless, which goes against the highed-paced mindless gameplay. Again, maybe I'll feel differently once the game picks up in difficulty.
The most impressive part so far is the environment. I didn't play their previous game, but I'm happy to see famous locales in 3D. It's not the most beautiful 3D, but it does the job for me.

It's a sequel to Scarlet Curiosity but unfortunately it's probably worse in every way. I finished both routes in 16 hours and the amount of content the dev recycled from the 2 previous games just gets depressing. Honestly if you've been a longtime fan of these games It's kind of depressing to see how lacking the 3rd game is.

The heal button straight up removes any reason to actually block or carry a long combo in this game. You can face tank most attacks and just heal to victory.

What's the point of long combos anyway? I care about my combo because it seems to be the only way the game assess my performance, and it gives me something to do, but the bonus to damage seems to cap out at a very low combo and it doesn't seem to keep track of my highest combo. Not that it's a very meaningful metric, since there is no anti-milking in place and you can rack up high combos by just spamming weak attacks.
If not a score system, they could at least have some in-game timer with best times recorded for individual levels or something. I hope they add more features in the future.

Luckily (for me), I didn't play their older games, so I get happy whenever I see a new 3D model. The cast is bigger than I expected.

There's a massive difficulty gap between nameless enemies and bosses (save for a certain fairy variant that is a recurrent mini-boss). That being said, bosses are still easy enough.
