It's also mentioned during the fight Ciel was taking so much damage it was outpacing her regeneration, yet she still kept going. So which kind of all-powerful yet highly-rational enemy do you have in mind that could provide a better challenge for Ciel?
Most opponents Ciel would come across against aren't even going to require her Calvaria Star trump card in all honesty. She can just cut them in half with her blade.

Not even close. Ciel was fighting more than an hour with Vlov and most fights in Tsukihime take more than one minute.

It took Shiki 1 minute to run 4km to reach Arc at the end of the fight. They'd have to run more than 4 times faster than a sprinting late DA Shiki for 3 minutes, assuming they recognize what is happening instantly, while fighting a Ciel trying to stop them, and that's assuming that it's just a fixed location it hits and it's range can't be adjusted before firing if Ciel corrects it

Ciel literally used all her mana just to fire her balista/bow. Her surviving the fight with Arc was possible thanks to the remains of Vlov priciple which grands her semi infinite mana for around 3 minutes. That way she could constantly use 5000 units of mana for both offence and defence. It's similar to Dark Sakura vs Rin with gem sword except x5.

Arc didn't store the city in the normal end so obviously Ciel wasn't going to use Star of Calvaria in the city proper. Arc in Ciel's Normal was actually unhinged (as seen by her eyes) in contrast to Ciel's True where she was still sane, only fighting seriously.

This never happens though. Arc's Event Storage was instantaneous. The only thing different Ciel did in the true route was leave Seven atop a nearby building, but she probably did the same in normal which is why she could use it on Arc.

disagree, one of the weakest part of her route is how it fails to establish a believable balance between the girl that always dreamed of normalcy and the apparently cold agent of the burial agency. most of the writing for the latter is mostly done through other characters like noel and even then it's hard to know what is genuine or not thus making things like the confrontation between shiki and ciel feel rushed. perhaps she is a complete character on a narrative standpoint since the focus was clearly more on elesia rather than ciel though. still feel like a pretty weak character overall desu.

It's explicitly stated to be a result of the handicap Ciel placed herself in by actually containin his IB. It's stated the cold was wearing her down despite her armor. Compare Noel vs Ciel where Ciel was explicitly face-tanking everything Noel was throwing at her with zero issue.

For that same reason they are likely to be way weaker than the Arc Ciel fought in Arc's True. And thus a lesser opponent for Ciel. So I don't get what you're trying to say here.

Noel when she was Rank VII after injecting her final Idea Replica syringe was stated to hit as hard as Ciel. So you can maybe make the argument Ciel at that time is as strong as a rank VII but the thing is Ciel was still hardly trying. And Ciel with Vlov's IB is way more powerful still.
This is excluding the fact Ciel is highly skilled in combat specially vs vampires. Her sword skills are superior to Vlov's by his own admission, to say nothing of her snipping skill.

If we're talking about compatibility then Ciel is the one who has high compatibility against vampires, on top of the fact she most assuredly doesn't fight fair if she can help it.
That said there are some opponents like Arc who can still wipe almost everything despite compatibility. For example Arc's natural enemy is Retrograde Cannal and the MEoDP. Yet both Aoko and Shiki can most assuredly not defeat ARC unless a lot of other factors are playing in their favor.
So all in all compatibility is still a thing that's taken out of proportion at times.

That's his own problem. We never see a Vlov without IB but we're explicitly told during that fight that Ciel is vastly more powerful in basic parameters and skills. In fact that Arc from Arc's True is called Awakened Arc, same title as the Awakened Arc said to qualify for the title of Ultimate One in Arc's FGO profile.

What you're seeing in Lumina is the monster peaking out and bleeding into Shiki's movements. It also serves as foreshadowing. We got to remember that Shiki has a theme of being something like a Wolf in Sheep's clothing. A monster trying to live within the herd and adapting to their community but always has fangs and claws. And that's ok, its his job to protect that life and those important. This was literally the SHIKI scene in KT and remake even mentions something along the lines of it that he's not what he appears.

In "A Story for the Evening", a 'sequel' scenario to Akiha's True Ending from Kagetsu Tohya, at the end of the scenario Akiha receives a letter from Ciel that reveals that Shiki did in fact survive, and that he had been under her care that whole time until he was fully recovered.

Shiki's treatment being completed, he waits for Akiha in the mansion for her return from the boarding school.

Arach VS Ciel > Ciel find Shiki's body > Revive him > Send to the Akiha > Akiha remake ending

Shiki never meets either Arc or Ciel. Arc doesn't get *nothing personal'd* and fucks off while Ciel fucks off to get raped at the Church. They play zero part. Far Side is Tohno family drama. Even Roa doesn't appear. Why the fuck would Nasu write a chuunishit fight scene with Ciel instead of fucking Akiha in Akiha's own fucking route?
