I'm learning that -で or -くて can be used to chain nouns/adjectives in a sentence.

The first example is:
私の部屋は、きれいで、静かで、とても好き。

Makes sense, put a で after every part that is being chained.

One of the subsequent examples is:
"田中さんは、お金持ちで、かっこよくて、魅力的ですね。"

Now my question is, would "魅力的ですね" or "魅力的でですね" be more appropriate? My reasoning is that one で has so be for chaining and one for です.

Is it that the last item in the chain doesn't require the で, in which case the first example is wrong? Does the で from chaining and です combine? Does it matter since google translate gives me the same result for both?

You don't use -で/-くて at the end. That'd be like saying, "Pandas are black and white and."
Not sure why you'd think the first example is wrong. "My room is clean AND quiet AND likeable (i.e. I like it)." You can add です to the end to make it polite. Right now it's casual form.

One thing that keeps confusing me about kanji is how do I know which reading is the "correct" one in a given context? Doesn't the way you read it sometimes drastically change its meaning, like that one thing that was a minor plot point in early BNHA where you could read "Izuku" (出久) as "Deku" (デク) which means "I'm a faggot" or some shit? bear with me, it's the only example I can think of right now

Also I literally just found out that you're supposed to put stuff here to modify the fields rather than the yomichan template for some reason. It works the way I want it to now.

Now I only need to modify it manually when something interrupts the sentence with a break which is…approximately…half the time.

if by alone you mean 'nothing but manga, not even listening content', then no
but if you mean you're also listening to stuff and it's just that manga is your only reading content, then yes. you can certainly get good enough to read harder manga anyway. there's a lot of vocab that shows up much more frequently in prose/narration, so its rarity outside of that will make it slower to acquire without reading novels but it's not an absolute necessity. also if you're never reading novels that makes that vocab less necessary as well. it's just going to trip you up when it shows up outside of prose/narration.

Are there any anki decks for audio? e.g. front of the card is just an audio clip, and back of the card is the word in jp + eng.

Is learning stroke order really that important? Seems like a giant meme to me given how counterintuitive some of them are.

>> No.43842458

>>43842422
Stroke order isn't the hard part of writing. Once you've learned like 50 then you'll be able to correctly guess it 99% of the time.

Anyway yes writing is useful because it forces you to internalize the structure of kanji rather than a vague shape.
