I'm learning riichi mahjong, so far i learned how to makes calls, more than half of the yakus and the other rules in teh game. Thing is i still don't understand how to points are calculated. More precisley i don't understand when we finish the game ( i play on tenhou) there's always some plus or minus something besides my number, what does that mean? Would be someone so kind to explain this to me? Furthermore, more translated cat mahjong lessons.

Not that points. Okay, i got 25K points at the begining, and based on the game i may lose them or gain more. When finish the whole game, BESIDE my points there always some +45 or -4 or something like near the game points. What are those?

There are a lot of ways online to tell you how to calculate points, it is a little complicated, I suggest just using one of those online hand calculators to figure out points first.
