There's no indication humans and Moon rabbits fought a direct war, outside Junko's statement of Apollo 11's crew being covered with injuries. The Lunar "War" was more like Moon people sabotaging humans to keep them out.

Or, are Americans liberating Moon rabbits from the Lunarians' oppression in these pics. Seems like Americans mixed up rabbit civilians as soldiers. Not a surprise, since people often think Moon rabbits are the same as Lunarians, which is false

Hence the "War" in quotes. They failed to stop the humans from trespassing on the moon multiple times, with Apollo 13 being an exception. Humans abandon their plans to settle on the moon, and the Lunarians declare it a victory and call it a war. Then humanity just goes back to the moon decades later anyway.
