The manga was rushing quickly through Tatari and Neko, I don't think it should be an issue now since there should be one volume and a half left just for this arc. Although the actual flow of the beginning of the arc should tell us better what to expect from it.

If Tomato manages to tie stuff like the domestic violence in Oniakashi and Mion getting disappointed in the village in Wataakashi into the final arc, it could actually make the manga great. If the foreshadowed memory leaks are just "Satoko looks suspicious" stuff then it should be a functional ending still though, but nothing that stands out by itself. Either way though, I fully expect cheesy club vs L5 infected scenes. So I guess there's that as far as dumb stuff goes that almost certainly will be in this arc.

idk about that. There may only be 2 chapters left which will probably complete volume 4, and gou ended up with 4 volumes discounting the anthology.
The later chapters were rushed but satokowashi-hen was moved to meguri to make up for the pages.

She's copy made by Mei's main villain. As revealed in the new story posted above, Rika discovered the Mei villain was posing as Hanyuu but then got immediately killed by her, then the villain made a fake Rika to avoid suspicions.

In the main plot, Tsukuyami Rika was preparing a massacre during Watanagashi, controlling people infected with Hinamizawa Syndrome to rampage there. Apparently, she herself didn't know she was a fake and remembered a history where she got out of June 83 only to see everyone killed afterwards. She despaired and then received power to control this new world of 83, needing to cause a massacre for her master's goals. In the main plot, there was a separate fake tsukuyami Hanyuu that seemed to work under her, but unaware of her plans. Then Tsukuyami Hanyuu gets her consciousness hijacked and they fuse together into that horned Rika form for the boss battle.

She ends up facing the entire main cast at once, who initially believes it's just Rika possessed by a Tsukuyami like other characters were before (basically a replacement for Hinamizawa Syndrome), but then at the end when Kazuho stops her she seemingly ends up killing her in the final blow. After a brief moment of freaking out though, her body disappears and then the real Hanyuu appears and tells them it was just a fake and real Rika was already in another world.

She also made a cameo appearance in Dark Awakening Satoko's story, where she easily kills Tsukuyami Rika, angry, she didn't notice when Rika was replaced.

He's talking about them having a big contradiction regarding the club. Oniokoshi has an entire chapter for a club game, and in dialogue it's clear the club of the kids has existed for years, while according to Hoshiwatashi the club is just something Keitaro wants to create in the future.

This kind of setting difference usually doesn't exist in Higurashi's loops, otherwise Rika and Satoko would never have struggled so much in the first place, they'd just loop into a world without part of the backstory that creates their conflict. Those worlds might exist out there, but usually you wouldn't have Rika just looping into them for no reason.

Still, it is based on a R07 outline, this just shows how loose the outline is that most details aside from the core plot points about the Polaris vs Hinamizawa conflict and whatever is the plot behind the murders probably was just made up by the artists.

All the details that you make you like the story and characters are part of the canon. Each question arc has to be canon for the sake of its equally canon answer arc making sense. Canon is the true identity of something, be it a character or the whole series, changing canon affects that identity. People wouldn't like if a new canon story appeared that changes something they like about the previous state of the canon (see: Gou ruining things with its horrible writing), but if it was just some fanservice OVA that isn't to be taken seriously, then people don't have to worry about their established universe being affected because they can rest easy knowing Mion didn't try to murder Keiichi with an AK-47.

The quality of an individual arc doesn't have to be part of an aspect of canon changed by the introduction of a new work (even though it certainly can change, the answer arcs make us see the question arcs differently for example, now that we know what's going on), because the latter includes things like characters. A new canonical work can introduce new details to a character's backstory that may make us see them in a different light for example.

That scene is still in the first day of the loop. Keitaro goes to school, returns from it talking with the other kids, then they end up in Satoko's store. It's all in a single day. You're probably mixing it up with Hoshiwatashi where there are several timeskips until the store scene.

What interview? I'm talking about the author's notes at the end of Oniokoshi vol2. And he explicitly said he COULDN'T pick up one, then considering making everyone marrying Keiichi, decided against that ideas, and then decided on this being a world where no one among the club members had romantic relationships with each other and found unrelated partners.

What keeps me from affecting Higurashi, even though I could hypothetically change your thoughts and ideas of the work? Acceptance into canon. At it's essence however if Ryu added my story into canon you would see that nothing changed about the original from the time it wasn't canon to the point where it was.

It's an adaptation of a script written by Ryukishi actually. That's why the Gou manga also says that it was written by Ryukishi.

False, Rika's memory of Minagoroshi was completely erased which not only had never happened before, it goes against the final scene's apparent intention of showing that Rika would remember the whole thing this time around since she wasn't knocked unconscious by Takano. Which would make sense since Rika previously showed that she knows that Shion killed her for example meaning she can remember that far into a loop. But no, we just have to accept that she inexplicably forgot about everything. Satoko's character development was also erased because we never see her remember past loops like Rena, Shion and Keiichi did. As far as we're concerned if Teppei shows up and Keiichi has already graduated by then, Satoko's fucked and since Rika still thinks Teppei is undefeatable she'll give up and kill herself.
