In my opinion, 623s are easiest on a keyboard if you're up for trying it.

I'm no Sakuya main, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but this information should be at least partially accurate. One basic key to playing Sakuya is proper use of j.2B. No single move of hers is as important to make good use of as j.2B is, in my opinion. j.2B is great in imperfect blockstrings, great for cross-up, great for applying bullet pressure (though 5B/j.5B is better), great of okizeme, it's great for fucking everything.

Practice this.
1. Score a knockdown
2. HJ9 2D so you end up on the opponent's other side
3. Combo/Blockstring

Once you've got that down:
1. Score a knockdown
2. HJ9 4D so you jump over the opponent then fly back to the side you started on
3. j.2B 3D j.2A land 66C if the j.2B hits otherwise j.2B 3D 5A land blockstring

Mixing the two of these up will keep your opponent guessing as to which side you're going to attack from. The second variation will knock your opponent down right next to you, allowing you to go for it again. Be very wary of wake-up DPs though as they will take you out of the air.

I dunno, I'm a big fan of pillar for reversal purposes. Playing so much Patchy, I immediately homed in on it because of my love for Silent Selene. Same thing goes for Iku's thunder card. But that shit gets predictable pretty fast, so... If all you're using it for is a combo that you can't reliably land and said combo leaves you open on whiff (wanna hurt myself for failing to punish it that one time. Forget what I did, but it took too long...), then yeah, I'd either take it out or practice the combo more.

Most spellcards are useless in the first place because of spirit damage nerfs, control rods to replace the added damage, and impractical hitconfirms. 2a 2b youkai buster does almost 2k. 2a 2b youkai red orb does 2.2k. Far 5a red orb does 2.2k but is too hard to use in an actual match.

Good games Rudder. One piece of advice I'd give you is to block on wake-up more. A lot of my damage came from just standing next to you after a knock down and spamming dial-A attacks. Also, you should ground tech a bit more often, especially when you're knocked down in the corner. Also, as Reimu you can use her 623 Guile flash kick as a reversal against people who try to melee you on wake-up, just FYI. Don't rely on that, or people will just block it and then punish, but it's helpful to know.

One general piece of advice is that you may find it helpful to work on tossing out some danmaku and then using that as cover to close to melee range. You can catch somebody grazing through the danmaku or force them to block, covering your approach.

Speaking as a non-Utsuho mainer, but someone who loves to watch her fight on nicovideo:

Regarding her skills:
Ground Melt (Default 236BC) has some use for Oki when you time it well, because if you're far enough away from the opponent it will catch them no matter which way they tech. Other than that, I do not see much use for it

Hell Geyser (Alt 236BC) is mostly used in combos and to knock the opponent around in favorable directions. Use it if you're looking to broaden your midscreen combo potential

Radiant Blade (Alt 236BC) may have use as a finisher or as an attack on wakeup, but honestly I almost never see it used, so I don't know much about it

Flare Up (Default 623BC) is mostly used as a combo finisher and occasionally for anti-air. It's alright, but her other options are usually better

Rocket Dive (Alt 623BC) is an excellent combo finisher. It does tremendous damage, but can leave you vulnerable if you don't land it, although I notice there aren't that many people that can punish you hard for missing with it. It's probably her best 623BC

Melting Shower Kick (Alt 623BC) is her grab. It still doesn't grab crouching opponents. So, yeah

Shooting Star (Default 214BC) has some application for adding to Utsuho's maneuverability and corner pressure, but it's honestly not a very good move

Anyway, Retro Atomic Model (Alt 214BC) is what I see most people use. Protective boolet that smacks people if they get too close. It adds a lot to Utsuho's melee pressure and is perfect for using after you knock an opponent down

Nuclear Fire's Ghost (Alt 214BC) is a skill that I have not seen used even once in any professional match. At a glance, it's hard to aim, requires significant orb investment (Placing and firing a single nuclear symbol requires 2 orbs. Yeah..), and does not even offer much damage when you land with it. Did I mention that it doesn't even drain a full orb when the enemy blocks it? Worthless skill, skip it

Break Sun (Default 22BC) is actually not half bad. Its use is limited to a finisher in corner combos, oki, and sometimes anti-air, though

Shooting Sun (Alt 22BC) is kind of insane now. With it, Utsuho puts out 3k+ midscreen combos. I almost think it should be nerfed, because it's that good

Hell's Wave Motion Gun (Alt 22BC) is excellent for danmaku. Its use in combos is limited compared to Shooting Sun, but combined with 5C, allows you to win nearly any danmaku contest you could get into

As for her spellcards, the jist of it is this: Atomic Fire Visor helps your block strings, Subterranean Sun is awesome for fucking the hell out of anyone in the midscreen, Giga Flare is comboable from her 3A and does assloads of damage. I don't know much about the properties of her other spellcards

TLDR: Almost all her skillcards except Shooting Star, Melting Shower Kick, and Nuclear Fire's Ghost are good in some way. Atomic Fire Visor, Giga Flare, and Subterranean Sun are all pretty awesome

It's even pretty fast on lvl 2+ and I'd use it just because it's her only melee special and makes some good traps. It's useful for some combos too.

GGs Judicant, Always nice to see another Alice player. You started playing much more defensively that last match and really made it a lot harder to approach safely. Ugh, haet River Mist when playing as Remilia so much, though.

Melting Shower Kick still has some novelty, even if Utsuho has better 623 options. Easy combo off 5AA for a good amount of damage (compared to other characters' combos at least), and since it's a constant threat against people blocking high, it's useful for inducing wrongblocked 3A, segueing into an airtight blockstring if in the corner.

You can cancel it into her shield 2card on the ground to avoid punishment.
623C is incredibly hard to punish when used in the air since it comes into the screen so high and most likely half a screen away.
