I actually felt really sorry for her in that moment. It really made it look that despite all her flaws Aya really cares about truth and was kinda heartbroken when she found out that she can't disclose it.
As fun as it to see her mogged by Mizuchi in Satori manga, this chapter was nice way to portray her as more than caricature.

I still think that this Satori is not so bad. She went from being a character who has barely been named after SA. and that she is known for being an antisocial hikikomori, friendless, hated by everyone and loved only by her pets. to be someone who relates very well with others, cares about others and is not afraid to face responsibility.
it's just that her fans are like Yukari's. They believed that she was an all-powerful being when in reality she is someone with limits and weaknesses, like every well-written character has.
A lot of people were disappointed with the manga because they were non-ironically expecting a detective Conan with Satori in creative mode.

It should already be pretty clear that Mizuchi isn't a regular vengeful spirit, considering there doesn't seem to be a limit on who she can possess, even the Moriya gods. It's likely her power is something like being capable of possessing anything.
Both Orin and Yuyuko also have the power of manipulating souls, but there's been no mention if whether or not they can do it to Mizuchi. Youmu's Hakurouken should also make Mizuchi scared since a paper cut from it will literally make her die a permanent death, but it doesn't really matter when she can't seem to detect her.
They also skipped PoFV for a reason, ZUN probably thinks that Eiki is a tier above Mizuchi or something like that.
