What do you guys think about going to japan for studying Japanese?
I'm going to stay there for one year, going away next November,

Unless your nipponese is already at a really high level, you're not going to get enough out of it to make it worth the hassle. Almost everyone I've met who goes over without a really good working knowledge of Japanese ends up being really lonely because they're basically confined to the areas of Tokyo that are inhabited largely by foreigners.

I'm going to study at the same school as a friend of mine did, she said everything was great and she made lots of friends even though she didn't have any experience in the language. (but shes blond and blue eyed ever jap probably wanted to do her)

I have little experience, studying right now.
(Maybe ill go next April, so that i can study a bit more... and can save up some more money)

If you're just going over to get drunk with other foreigners, trying to fuck loose Japanese girls, and buying shit in Akihabara then you might as well just go by your own accord and do whatever the fuck you want instead of tying yourself down with some study program.

Studying language in an immersion setting is pretty much the end-game of learning a foreign language.

Mainly i want to have a real challange, i've been bored most of my life. And i really want to learn that language. If i go there for one year i might come back later to study some more or continue here at home.

honestly, from someone who's studying at a japanese college, i wouldn't recommend it unless you're confident in your japanese abilities.

i had a friend who studied abroad there and didn't speak much japanese and he hated it. he stayed with a host family but they couldn't get along due to the lack of communication and he got yelled at and kicked out of their house. i guess this is an extreme example, if you intend on making japanese friends there you need to be able to speak the language enough to have a fairly meaningful conversation, unless you're just planning on talking to only gaijin, which really defeats the purpose of studying in japan.

anyways, my advice:
study up to intermediate/advanced japanese, THEN go to japan.
