Remilia is a pretty shitty vampire.

If she's so powerful, why doesn't she just turn into a bat and fly to the tea shop in Gensokyo, pick herself up a big cup of tea and drink it, instead of making a shitty human maid do her bitchwork? She can't even keep people out of her mansion, she has to have a gatekeeper that also does a shitty job.

I thought vampires were supposed to be powerful, but all she does is sit around wearing gay dresses and hats like some little gothic barbie girl, instead of fucking shit up with her magical vampire powers.

Because that's not how aristocrats do things.

Remilia likes to take it easy.

Traianus was a shitty emperor. If he was so good why didn't he go conquer shit himself instead of sending lowly legionaries?

Remilia burns in sunlight. Hence why she stays in her mansion and has a group of youkai/maids to do her busywork.

Because a pair of insensitive humans thought it would be funny to fuck with the red mist that'd let her go outside without turning to ash.

Now that I think about it. Was the mist even harming anybody or was Reimu just being a bitch?

That fake moon was actually a protection measure for huans on Gensokyo.

Fair enough, but it would have ended after the flower viewing Reimu interrupted.
>fake moon
No effect. The heroines caused the most disruption by making an endless night until they got their shit together.
>new gods aggressively gaining followers
So, in effect, Reimu prevents them from having another layer of protection in the form of a god who has a vested interest in keeping her human believer base alive and healthy.
>traitor to the human race starting shit
Byakuren may have rendered youkai a non-threat to humans if they could both live peacefully, thus drastically increasing human life expectancies.

As an addendum to that, Sanae taking care of youkai extermination gives Reimu plenty of opportunity to sit around doing nothing which, much like everyone in /jp/, is Reimu's primary activity and she mostly only gets angry when she has to stop.

the heroines didn't know at first.
they couldn't have known that the spring would return without their intervation, that the fake moon is actually no threat, and that the treasure ship had no treasure (but what is wrong with a little treasure hunting?)

about a rival god- one strong shrine>two small shrines, even if the level of fate in them is the same.

Then Reimu should have just let Kanako take over her shrine. Nothing would change in her life, Reimu never gets worshippers or donors coming to the shrine anyway, and she'd be able to carry on life as normal except with Sanae doing all her chores for her.

Reimu is just a short-sighted jerk. She doesn't even realize she could be even more lazy if she just stopped acting on impulse.

as a shrine maiden, reimu needs to work hard only once every few months.
the only other work she is fit for is a maid. but she is too lazy for that.

do you really think that kanako and suwako would let reimu sit around all day drinking tea?

Yeah, probably. They're pretty easygoing when it comes right down to it, like everyone else in Touhou.

there is a differance between being easy going and letting your grand-grand-grand doughter slide, and between letting a random freeloader live at your house.

>> No.4154045

>>4154031
But it'd wouldn't be her house. I think Kanako explains in one of the endings that she was just going to make the Hakurei shrine a branch shrine, so she'd still reside in the Moriya shrine, just she'd be able to be worshipped at the Hakurei one.

but than reimu would need to depend on kanako for power. ever played as sanae in 12.3? yeah. besides, she needs to keep her good name.

In any case, she could just have come to an agreement that they wouldn't interfere in each other's business. Reimu doesn't give a shit about faith, her shrine doesn't even have a god. She was just looking to start some shit.

That's because the story in this series makes no sense and everyone is too powerful yet all they do is shoot each other with colorful lights.
