Most of his characters are variations of his previous writings. He mashes them together to create something new or tries to flash out a character he thought had bigger potential. Story themes and overall plot often mirrors something he wrote in the past too. He often has mono no aware present in his works. Originally he was inspired by Evangelion which shows in his works starting from Mahoyo and Angel Notes. Nowadays he doesn't even bother anymore since FGO allows him to reuse characters left and right.

>Fate/Prototype is the reinvention of Nasu's first work: Fate Skipper. "Shirou" is mostly based on Proto Cu. Arthur acted more a mix of EMIYA and Gil (as Alter) than the white prince archetype in Fate Skipper. Ayaka is called Proto Rin (Misaya redesign became later Rin like, but she wasn't like that), not Proto Shirou. EMIYA and Rin prologue scene is based on an exchange Nasu originally wrote for Ayaka and Arthur.

You just listed a bunch of surface level similarities and proof of Nasu not being very creative if he's just reaching into his same storage chest of ideas all the time. Kind of hack behavior. Even then, there is a difference between the same character in different circumstances/situations like a route and the repurposed designs representing a new character which are often just an exaggeration of a quality that hardly represents the initial character's essence in a meaningful way.

Not every character really needs to 'develop' I think. It's completely ok to have a story about a character whose already been fully fleshed out so long as they are interesting so I think you could have had a good story about Shirou and Rin rather than just side comments alluding to it. Not looking at it for so long makes it take it's toll more if I recall. He also tends to look at it deeper and more fiercely compared to say Ryougi. He also doesn't appear to be able to change his focal point and sort of overlook it like Ryougi so he's like a engine running full tilt with boost being flipped at times.

the MEODP is linked to the Root or Alaya due to it basically being lines that go back to the human unconsciousness that show the future end of all things. Her eyes must have affinity with her link to the Root and the Void. She was also trained by Touko to be able to close her eyes without needing the glasses due to that I assume? This isn't something you'd normally even have addressed since it's a pointless concern for a multiverse. However, Neko-Arc regards Miyako as her ancient rival. Clearly a callback to their relationship in past games. She even mentions her past character balance. As even the characters are 4th-wall breaking about it, considering the original as it's own continuity in the Tsuki world system/franchise seems fine.
