There's one which I think is a recreation of what I think is the Vindale Forest now that I reflect on it, picture related, but I haven't found it in the ones I have downloaded. Room 890 is the one full of bubbles though and good for leveling. There's also someone trying to recreate Elona Shooter in Elona form which are rooms 847/848. Room 845 made by a Fujiwara no Mokou has a mutation crystal which gives mutations if you're looking for them. I haven't been looking that much and some of the rooms I downloaded just don't work for me so feel free to just download them and look yourself.

I've had the white boxes problem before too. Its caused by too many custom NPCs being installed in your game.

You'll usually run into the problem in moongates with a lot of custom NPCs, because each of those NPCs count as being temporarily installed in your game.

If you have way too many custom NPCs, some custom NPCs outside of the moongates (the ones you have in your user folder) will show up as white boxes too.

It's basically day/month/year. Party rooms are the rooms that are made when you do party time! quests. Reading oracle scrolls just reads the art.log file in your elona folder. It's not that hard to find if you just search art.

You break even at rank 84 I think, if you've been saving up figures and cards you should probably be able to get that and more immediately. Any NPC is good for your museum. I useful method I've used is to throw cursed alcohol at high level NPCs. I was able to kill the King, Queen, and General of Palmia with 12 cursed bottles of whiskey and some savescumming. I reccomend you curse more bottles than that though.

Cursed whiskey makes things vomit horribly. You buy whiskey from innkeepers and you can also buy crim ale or regular beer if you prefer. To curse something simply read scrolls of curse which aren't that hard to find. It is recommended you do this after you drop everything you don't want to curse including your equipment. Scrolls just love giving you materials you don't want, like adamantium on fairy hats and dawn cloth on plate mail. That's when they don't damn it all and give you raw. Getting the best of the best (ether, adamantium, etc) is pretty hard; bless your scrolls and make sure you have at least 3-4. Never use your last/only scroll in a last ditch attempt to get what you want, unless you enjoy having gear with negatives.

So I'm playing a Claymore.
That 15s wight limit for keeping my equip weight total "light" is a bitch.
My claymore is 11s for crying out loud!
Even fairys aren't as restricted on equipment when trying to keep light weight.
Though they actually can't reach medium equipment weight, but that's not the point.

Should I just say fuck it and use medium weight armor?
It's not like I can dodge everything forever anyway, and because the claymore is such a heavy weapon I cant even use a full set of light gears weighing under 1s making my evade suffer anyway.

Your armor class only affects your cast chance. Since twohand and light armor apply no penalty, a claymore would theoretically be a great caster/warrior hybrid.

Practically, not so much. It'd be a nightmare to have decent armor with a heavy weapon. If you want to be a hybrid, light armor/dual wield on a fairy is the way to do it. If you want to use heavy weapons, might as well make your armor heavy as well and resort to rods/potions/scrolls.

Also, if I'm not wrong, heavy armor gets you more damage reduction per skill rank than medium, same for medium and light. My light armor char with 30 or so armor skill and 300 PV from heavily enchanted gear/griffon scale everywhere had about the same reduction as my 200ish PV heavy armor char with barely 20 or so heavy armor skill.

So it's a toss-up between casting efficiency and protection. It just so happens that if you're using light armor, you'll want to focus on evasion/greater evasion to compensate. Even a heavy armor char can have considerable evasion. The claymore class is just a gimmick, it only means you'll start with greater evasion which saves you the trouble of breaking in the mages guild to get it, so you can level it off the bat.

Even if the next update doesn't allow continuing saved games, it should be possible to use the Incarnate an Adventurer feature to keep most of your items. I believe that's why that feature was added in the first place. If that does happen, get some high level monster balls so you can give yourself some strong starting pets and buy a ton of cargo items (like a single stack weighing 20,000s. Your speed can't ever go below 10...) for some starting gold.

It must be. I tried to nab a Yukkurisa only to have it come out of ball as a Mithril Bell (!).

The thing is useless. It likes to spam chaos ball, which kills me and the rest of my group very quickly.

It kicks ass in the pet arena, though.

For everyone: if you have a pet like Utsuho or Mystia or whatever that spams aoe attacks, you can either teach them control magic and give them items with +s to it, or you can just ride the spellcasting pet and their spells won't bother you. They'll be a bit slower though.
