I'm not saying don't do it, but holy shit buckle up because the learning curve is a bit like eve online, with cruficixions and corpse piles. Grab duolingo or something and do it for a few weeks, then assuming you don't want to top yourself, start going through kids stories with a dictionary at hand and takes notes. Move to slightly more complex stuff, watch kids TV and try not to let anyone find out your shameful secret.
