I hate to interrupt teenagers doing their tribal bickering since they have nothing to contribute, but I can answer somewhat. They are called netouyo and they are referenced and often mocked in media including anime and video games. They are most strongly associated with what is today known as 5chan and they predate 4chan's version, but futaba has its own infestation as well. You may find it interesting than 4chan and 5chan have the same owner and both sites are full of angst-fueled political scum with questionable ties to political figures.
But, you shouldn't forget that these are major platforms in Japan with a significantly larger userbase than 4chan despite being on an island with 100m people. Futaba even has a parenting board, although I haven't looked at it in years because why would I?

I'm not sure if they're viewed as being almost nothing but racists and right-wingers like 4chan, but they are indeed viewed as connected.
Netto-uyoku are a very well known thing for decades, Japan has its own view of fat greasy ultranationlist otaku on the internet that care about dumb ultra-specific shit most average folks don't think about. 2ch had a lot of boards that were just anti-Korean and anti-Chinese text art, futaba channel is much more niche so is viewed as even fatter and greasier. Last time I went there, there was a thread where they accused each other of being Chinese, and I'm sure someone from here was there because they were talking about Jews in simplistic Japanese.

Now, there's no app. No notifications. No profile. No likes. No DM's. No personal feed. Literally every social media app is the same. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, they all offer pretty much the same features. 4chan has none of those features.

Remember that kids these days don't surf the web on their home computer, then later get a smartphone. They get a phone or a tablet at 5yo then maybe get a laptop when they go to college. That alone filters the userbase to weebs and gamers etc.

I think a huge issue is that 4chan has essentially become this, due to the state of the rest of the internet. I don't know if there's enough statistics to say for certain who the "biggest" spammer really was. AnonTalk would definitely be up there, having been brought down by captcha, that's the one I'd guess you're getting at. In terms of individual spammers who didn't use large scale automated posting, KoG was also notorious for a very long period, I don't actually know why he went away. Over shorter periods of time, spam due to bots like Cornelia was very concentrated.

There was a consistent effort to spread Pizzagate and QAnon far and wide. I was there in those threads on cripplechan and they would make facebook accounts and target boomers and even minorities with their conspiracy theories, pretty much anyone religious who would believe in Satanic baby eaters. A lot of them were weebs so unsurprisingly they would try to spread it to Japanese sites too if they had access to them, and a lot of terminally online Japanese otaku tend to eat up the most extreme right-wing stuff. Trump was pretty anti-Chyna so it's not too big of a leap. They won't get most of the Jew obsession, even the Japanese in the Axis didn't really care much about Jewish people, but they'll go along if it means nuking China.
