Now this kind of confuses me, I have never avoided experience nor have I directly tried to gain it.
I have mostly done quests for PP, Gold and artifacts and things such as spellbooks and the like and my character had stats on par with that on level 9.
What am I doing different?

7 levels in pickpocket is enough to consistantly steal cure corruption potions from high level adventurers. High level adventures will gladly trade their high end loot for said potions.

Do you want to be ridiculously fast, only use light armor and dual wield, be innately profficient in casting, have an amazing dodge bonus, resist pretty much every element at the price of an easily fixable hp penalty?

If yes, roll fairy anything.
If no, do you want to be immune to the worst status effect in the game, which can't be resisted in any way except being this particular race, have tons of hp, at the cost of speed which doesn't really matter if you're going to ride something anyway?

If yes, roll golem anything.
If no, roll anything else because it doesn't matter for shit.

I'm pretty sure one of the reasons is that there is no other NPC to catch you stealing. But I dont think that is all. I had a pickpocketing skill of 3-4 and I was still able to jack everything from one adventurer

Haven't played elona like in ages, you guys are making me want to roll a new char on it.

But before i do, i'd like to prevent some idiotic mistakes that lead me to give up on the game.

First and most important, money making. Escort misions ate ok, but i would like to be able to get into the ranch/shop/museum business, any advice?

Also, something i never figured out, how do you ride stuff?

The buildings are all overrated, they can make up for taxes at most. Ranch might be slightly worth it if you have something like a dragon breeding there (worth 20-30k at the slave trader), but high level things breed too slow anyway. The only real way to make money is performer; first thing you should do in your game is get the skill if necessary, grab the horn from the lumiest graveyard if you can't find a harmonica, and grind performer levels. It'll take a bit of patience, but the end result is worth it (10-40k every party time quest).

First, get the riding skill from Yowyn. Then, get a pet (you can get horses in Yowyn which have decent speed). Then, use your riding special action (you get it with the skill) on it. You can use the action again to stop riding.

Also, rather than making money, you should focus on not losing more than necessary. Negociation comes in handy here; it can really cut down on prices and also gets you more money from selling stuff (with a good skill rank, you can get 300-600 gold for random monster body parts, which combined with anatomy really adds up).

Your class doesn't really matter since you can buy all the skills later anyway. It does give you a bit of a head start in some areas, which is worth considering I suppose.

Pianists start with performer and weight lifting, considerably levelled. Both are high-priority skills, so starting with them can't hurt; it's why alot of people choose this. Wizards start with all the casting stuff you'll want, which saves you a bit of time picking up magic, while not losing out on much else. Farmers start with a wide mix of survivial/crafting skills which you may or may not want/need. Archers are good at their own niche, and having riding from the get-go helps if you're a slow race. Thieves start with dual wield, tactics, pickpocket, negociation, which are pretty useful; if you want to be a melee character you should roll a thief instead of a warrior. Warriors, warmages, priests and others don't really bring anything good to the table, except training in skills everyone has anyway and are easy to level.

Personally, i'd toss it up between pianist if you want to perform asap, wizard if you like magic, or thief if you like fighting and stealing gear off adventurers.

As for race, either fairy or anything else. If you're willing to be stuck with 0.9s or lighter armor/weapons, there's no reason to pick anything else. If you really insist on medium/heavy armor and/or twohand, the feats other races have don't make any difference at all so just pick whatever sounds cooler or something.

Definitely not all. I'd say weapon and body armor aren't worth it. When it's a difference of 1 PV for helm or girdle, then the speed is obviously better.
Even better is Ether gear, which actually has good stats and increases speed more than glass. And no, ether has no effect on pets

The real problem is her base HP. She has overall best stats compared to the younger sister (young lady is out, too old) along with a godly 200 base speed. But since she is a thief she should have extremely high evade to evade attack and obviously you are supposed to buff your pet magical defenses to their maximum, but then the problem would be if she ever got hurt it'd hurt like hell.

Has anyone gotten into the labyrinth moongate? It's completely black except for some small islands of visibility, and you can immediately tell what is an obstacle and what can be walked on. On top of that, the place is delightfully furnished with little girl skins and organs, skillfully cooked townsfolk, and more than half of all items are doomed.

Supposedly, there's a summoning crystal on the map, but it is completely inaccessible if it exists at all. No matter where you search on the map, you never get any closer to it.

And all the edges are walled in, so there's no obvious way to leave.

Anyways, if anyone has any clue what the fuck your meant to do when you get there or how to leave, then I'd appreciate being told.

The only exit I've founded it the doomed guillotine beneath the doomed statue of creator.

Gardening is a motherfucking godsend for STR. May not seem the right skill for it, but the actual act of tugging the crops outta the ground builds str fairly damn quickly.

Though, I think the monsters in harvest quests a good deal weaker than the norm. They seem to routinely go down in just the one hit, til I encounter hounds in the higher difficulties.

Ehh, you could try doing a performance job, but watch out for any special npcs (Loyter, Shena), because they will fucking tear you a new one if you play near them.

You have to Talk to them and tell them you're abandoning/sell them to actually free up space.
