>What are era games?
Era games are a group of (usually) Japanese developed text porn games. Some of these games have ongoing translation and modding projects. It's not exclusively related to 2hu but it's one of the series with most era games. Yes, I took this directly from the wiki, fuck you.

You could try your hand at translating dialogue, there's guides currently in TW folder(in #Translation) on what to do, since I mostly played TW, not sure if it that folder exists in other games.
Another guide from threads is:
1) Download an IDE. VS Code, for example.
1a) If using VS Code, install the EraBasic addon
2) Select UTF8 encoding
3) Open the ERB files and edit them
That way you can now edit files without much trouble.
The path for files to edit is usually the ERB folder:
K: ERB/口上
TW: ERB\口上・メッセージ関連\個人口上
You can also report bugs or typos when you see them.
If you'd like to either edit or add your own portraits for 2hus, the files are located within the resource folder.

To add to this >>38842912, it's also a carry over from the traditional era games where the character is considered 'dying' while under 500 stamina, and will actually die if their stamina goes to 0 or below. Some era games like SQN goes around this by slapping all the non-MC's with a trait that makes them unable to die if they hit 0 stamina, while most other eras (TohoW included) just makes it so that it's impossible to hit 0 stamina by introducing the 'automatically ends session upon lower than 500 stamina' thing and/or reducing the stamina usage enough that you can't accidentally kill someone (including yourself) this way.

Devs sometimes forgot, I remember someone pointed out in the past Yoshika was also translated.
Usually those that show up with 0% while translated was due to poor coding on the translator's part.
For example, some of Yoshika's lines were broken when they were supposed to show up until someone dug in and figured it out.

A anon mentioned that one of the reasons some of the PC-98hus didn't go over to TW was due to not having a proper location for them to stay over, and in few rare cases like Orange, they're straight up dead.
