It's a bit grindy but its an auto-battler kind of game where you have to map out what the fairies do. You can certainly brute force your way through things but some bosses will require you to set up a tactics set specifically for them.

In the southeast part of the human village, there are a bunch of fenced-off farms. You can collect pumpkins, turnips, and a bunch of other stuff there, but they (seemingly) only respawn every 2nd day.

I didn't figure out inviting someone meant they could appear outside their native area until I was at the mansion, would have made leveling up everyone so much easier. Wriggle's max level reward is pretty great.

It's a fangame, it's allowed to invent things to make the gameplay fit in with the original touhou universe. It's not like ZUN original works already cover how businesses are allowed to operate in Gensokyo.

There are plenty of things in other fangames, like SkyDrift, Genius of Sappheiros, Luna Nights, Genso Wanderer, and the rest, that aren't canon. I don't see characters riding on top of one another in official ZUN works, like they do in SkyDrift.
