Hollowtrannies supposedially found a cast leak.
According to that she is voiced by Ayumi Fujimura, aka Azaka. She has been on hiatus for over 2 years.
But it also indicates there is the 10 year older Aoko, voiced by Kotono.
That would indicate a single film adaptation.
All in all I find it very sus, Not impossible to be right but has many weird flaws.

8 has always been fine, it was translated a long time ago. 9 was fully translated (I already read it from the patch leak) and it seemed ok. I don't know french or italian so I cannot compare it but I felt like everything was correct and there were no TL notes.

Chapter 10 was where I stopped. It has TL notes, feels awkward to read and there's a part that's in complete french still.

I skimmed through chapter 11 and it seemed fully translated but I didn't look further because I want to avoid spoiling me.

With chapter 10 translated I think the main story would be completely readable without issue, leaving extras behind. I'm not a translator but I would guess it wouldn't take too much time, maybe? It's partially in english so that'd only need cleanup and the parts in italian would need full translation but at least it's not the whole chapter.

I've read Heroine Zodiac and both TMitters after 5 months and Mahoyo after 7 months. All with texthooking and mouseover dictionary, of course. Gaining enough vocab to read Nasu unassisted will take probably around 2-4 years, depending on how much time you are willing to sink into drilling words.

I literally started yesterday by learning hiragana and I already know 5 rows of them. I plan on learning 5 or 6 today and practice them with realkana.com

Hi there anons, since they announced Mahoyo's movie and i have free time than i told myself that it's the perfect execuse to finally read the novel.
There is only one problem: it doesn't install itself, it stops in the beginning.
I used a japanese locale emulator to start it and the installation stopped. I changed the locale even on the computer and it still stopped.
At this point i've gotta ask if someone has a download where the game is already extracted.

Pretty good, I'd say. It took me about a month or so to get all the kana down to the level I could feel confident in telling all of them apart and now I can read them pretty fast (though Katakana words are still pretty hard without context). I started going through grammar about a month ago and started working through my core deck a couple of weeks ago and honestly, everything's been a breeze. I think I'll start reading Yotsubato raw soon. If you're like me, the rote memorization will be the hardest part, because hiragana and katakana have no real symbolic patterns to speak of. After you drill the phonetic sounds into your head, though, you'll be able to go through grammar and vocab rather easily, picking up on all the inherent patterns. Hang in there, we're all gonna make it.

I think this is a bit easier since my main language is Spanish and both japanese and spanish are romance languages. But that's it, yeah. I believe memorization is the hardest part because it's not like learning any language that uses ABC and that's it. You literally start from zero.

My first goal is going to be able to read Yotsubato as well. Let's hope we can both make it!

Hey. I feel I should explain why Chapter 10 is in this state. If only so that it is fully explained on-record. By the way; I am the one who leaked the files on Christmas Day. I had also forgotten there was already a pre-made patch to use in the files. It has been quite some time, you know? Moving on, however.

You can now laugh at the HM team again. Okay, it goes like this. The translation and editing work for 10 was the absolute worst part of the project. I was one of the only staff members doing any sort of real work at that time in Oct. 2019.

Ever since the beginning, the HM group efforts were a huge mess. But that's not the focus of my post here today. Chapter 10 was given to an entirely un-experienced, random volunteer who asked to work on something out of excitement and enthusiasm for the team.

They are called un-experienced by me because they literally had zero prior work with editing, working on literature, or any form of written word at all. So, against my better wishes on the subject, Andrew and the team let them on to work with Chapter 10.

Eventually, there was never much progress made past what you see and have here now. The translators weren't really interested in working on 10 from French to English either. The "Editor" whom was the newbie added for this specific chapter took forever, entire days to show off just little amounts of progress.

At the end of this story, the "Editor Volunteer" eventually gave up and left out of nowhere, basically doing what is called ghosting today. Chapter 10 was left in limbo. That's it.

However, what furthermore I can tell you is: Chapters 11-13 are basically finished to the state of Chapter 9 is as some other posters mentioned here in the thread. If you are going to question anyone for the strange, mechanical use of grammar and speech style, also the use (or no use there of) contractions in the various Chapters, I was the only one really doing much Editing/QC/Check on them at the time in 2019. I signed into the project originally as part of being a Regular in an old discord server. Then, the whole thing blew up out of proportions. At the very start of the HM group, the staff even made fun of the public users in the new server for HM at that time. shitting on them behind private rooms. Now, that really is it. HM are a bunch of assholes and nobody should have to wait for them, so I advise everyone to indeed see about making their own variant TL works from the HM leaks. Have a good week, everyone.

While we are at.
Things I dislike about:
-Her backstory is over the top rape. I am not against rape as a set up, but not to the point to make it kinda comedic. Getting raped by worms for 10 years is silly and aadd your brother doing it for 2 years on top of that.
-Some of her traits in Heaven's Feel annoying, mainly her self-loathing and blaming herself for everything, trying to carry things on her own without seeking help making things worse, and her being too horny compared to the other heroines (there was sexual tension before but not that much)
-The story forces me to choose her. "Mind of Steel" ending is a completely valid option and can turn into a good conclusion if Nasu wanted to instead of just making Shirou and Kirei saying "it all goes shit form her". It should have been a divergence point imo. That's more of a problem with the story than the character, but naturally it affects your perspective towards her.
-I don't like her relation with Shirou that much in HF, but that's personal preference I guess.

The things I like about Sakura:
-Her relation with Rin is so damn good. Starting from the jealousy shown in the first few days that elevates with the story, ending with them together in the epilogue.
-After she is past most of her problems, she becomes really good in HA. She is shown there more active and very fun.
-Some cool stuff related to her magecraft and origin, like that one final scene in HA but that's under explored.

That's what I mean by I don't like it. They feel like they are playing couple doing everyday stuff with cooking and cleaning rather than trying to progress or understand each other. Sounds fine in theory, but it is terribly executed. There's no buildup to this, prior to HF Rin says something about Sakura being adopted, and then you just get a couple of exposition dumps and then suddenly you're supposed to both accept she's not a pure maiden but actually a nymphomaniacal worm/rape victim as well as care about the character because she was raped. That's another thing: everything about Sakura is "tell, don't show" when it should be the other way around. Nasu expects me to care about the character because she was suffering when I should care about her suffering because I care about the character. The same goes for the Shirou romance. Kanas are much easier than regular alphabets, cause letters are not random and the sounds are obviously the same for both kanas.
Btw, at the very start I was learning ~20 kanjis for about half a year when I was just trying to bruteforce them, without much progress. But when I discovered what works for me (it was Anki in my case), I was able to learn 2000 in the next half of a year. Learning correctly is literally as important as learning, at all. I've got friends that've been learning moon for around 8-10 years and they still can't pass N2, but I also have a few that were able to pass N1 in just a year.

It's up to you, anon. My whole point is that you shouldn't just stick to some arbitrary method of learning, but should discover for yourself, since it will save you much more time in the end. For instance, it was Anki for kanjis for me, I was able to average around 35 new kanjis per day (in terms of Anki it ofc doesn't mean that you've learned them when you've encountered them once, it's a continuous process)
As for kanas, it was some random game were I had to match kana tiles and their reading. After I played it for like 5 hours, I was guessing right pretty much always, although may be hiragana slightly better since I knew that it's much more important.

May be you'd be surprised, but even Japanese people guess words/kanjis (often wrong) when they read a VN or something. Obviously, not all of the words, may be like 5%, and they can possibly understand the meaning even if they don't know how to read, but still. I was kinda amused myself though when I saw some japanese streamer girl reading the Shibuya Crossing, misreading words quite frequently. Just cause you've "learned" a word, doesn't mean you will be able to recall it all the time thereafter.

Yeah this is the big one. Saber and Rin get a ton of screen time in every route regardless of romantic heroine, yet Sakura does jackshit in Fate and UBW and she only appears in the most boring scenes. This was such a massive error on Nasu's part. It really made Shirou's whole "I'm throwing away my ideals for her" hit far less then what it could have.
