She really does. Maybe that's the reason for the backlash, for 70% of F/SN you think Sakura's the pure kind housewife type and then suddenly BY THE WAY SENPAI MY VAGINA IS AN ALIEN DEMON PARASITE AND I HAVE FUCKED MORE MEN THAN I LITERALLY CAN COUNT

The ones who try to act pure are the ones who have something to hide.

Generally, there are two kinds of women in these world: The sluts who have slept with a lot of men, and the pure ones, who try to seem like good girls to cover up the fact that they have slept with a lot of men.

>> No.3719898

It might have been better for the roles of Rin and Sakura to be reversed, not plotwise but sexually. Rin in the Fate threesome scene was hot in her own way, assertive, experienced, bisexual and knew a suspicious amount of sex-related magic rituals. If the writers had said she has a parasite that feeds on sperm, I bet most people would have gone "oh, okay" and Sakura could have stayed as the innocent moeblob who evil Shinji abuses. Instead Nasu tried to be clever with a tweeeest and you get crap like a blushing bride Rin in UBW and Slutkura.

Has everything to do with cleverness. Kinoko went for a twist with Sakura. That's completely obvious.

>Only virgins nitpicking.

Is there any valid way to criticize F/SN in your world, oh anonymous-who-hits-enter-after-every-sentence? I'm beginning to think you're Nasu yourself with the way you can't handle even the lightest criticism of the novel, its events or characters.

>> No.3719979

>>3719958
Twist?
Before you even have the first sex scene, you are informed early on about Sakura on HF.
The twist concerns her overall background of abuse, not just sexual experience.
And I can handle criticism. Or rather, not care if you say it's good or bad. But you should notice that I never said he does anything WELL, just pointing out that some people have a very wrong basis or interpretation of events and characters. Whether TM works ot any VN are good or shit, you must sometimes get the point the author drives.
/jp/ sucks at that.

>Before you even have the first sex scene, you are informed early on about Sakura on HF.

Yeah, and before that point there's only TWO THIRDS OF THE ENTIRE FUCKING NOVEL where Sakura has been sold to the reader as the ultimate blushing bride. Before you can read Heaven's Feel, you have to read the other two routes and those will necessarily affect your perception of her.

>>3719979
>/jp/ sucks at that.

_We_ suck? How about you look in the mirror once in your life. It's like you can't fucking comprehend that holy shit, people can and regularly will come to different conclusions about things than you! That they can read the same thing you read, understand and remember every word and still interpret it in the opposite way! Because guess what, your interpretation exists only in your own head and nowhere else. Its something you personally formed, not anything Kinoko Nasu made and especially not any kind of divinely informed supertruth that people would accept if they weren't so stupid and evil and didn't insist on making their own minds.

Jesus, what the fuck's wrong with you? We are discussing _perceptions_ here. We cannot fucking read Nasu's mind so we do not have access to any facts on what he thought, and even if we did, why should we give a shit about the writer's opinion? That's not how art fucking works. The artist does not get to decide how the audience experiences the piece. Art happens in the mind of the viewer.

If somebody says something about a character you disagree with, you can say "I disagree" and preferably explain why you interpreted it differently. But you can't say "you are wrong". This isn't a fucking math class.

God.

>> No.3720086

>> No.3720224

The point is, in the first two routes, you know almost NOTHING about her. Everything they revealed that would tie into the plot would be something you could NOT guess. And she is still mostly trying to be like a housewife even with the background. So, NOT a twist.

Secondly, calm the fuck down. When the author writes something, he tries to give you an impression. He may not do a stellar job and even fail, but you can recognize the point of what he writes. It's one thing to criticize the execution of it. But when you miss the point entirely? The criticism is moot, since you will judge issues that are not even there most of the time.
Like you for example, who assume that I write these because I think Nasu does everything perfectly and nobody must defile his work, while my point is that people VERY frequently in TM threads miss the whole fucking point, and should try a different perspective when they read it. This happens regardless if they thought it was good or shitty. One may assume the VN is shitty or excellent for the wrong reasons and judging on a wrong basis.
For the argument posted in this very thread, what I say does not make the scenes or presentation magically better.
You can have any perception you want, but you can very easily interpret things wrongly or judge on a wrong/irrelevant basis.
I do not ask people to love or hate anything, I just point out they should read into the work more carefully.
And TM works are nowhere near my favorite ones, though I did find most of them enjoyable in the end.
