I'd say almost all Eushully games are "region-locked", as they happen in the same world during different times and regions, and we still don't have overlapping stories because the world is apparently really fucking big.
Amayui is probably the one that most resemble the idea of "motion", but all of them are big boy adventures and move through interesting places and so on.
Like another anon said above, their whole stitch is their world-building, so even a game that happens on a single city feels epic.

just finished 理と迷惑の少女, the fifth and final installment in the 美少女万華鏡 series!! im pretty blown away. its a genuinely phenomenal game and the perfect send-off to one of my favourite eroge series.
unlike the previous titles, this game isn't paced like a typical nukige at all, and it takes 10 hours or so to even get to the first eroscene in the main route. so long as you keep this in mind, i think its pretty well-paced and enjoyable from start to finish.
it's one of the most beautiful romances i've read in quite a while and i was really astonished with just how well everything was tied together. it builds thematically on every previous game in the series towards an incredibly cathartic climax.
needless to say, you should absolutely read the previous games first. 呪われし伝説の少女 was one of the first games i ever read in japanese, so i found it really touching to see the full potential of this series finally realised with such a heartfelt tribute.

That's the way most people rate things in europe because of the school scoring system.

5 or 50 is not average just because it's in the middle, it's "barely the passing mark". 6 is below average, 7 is average, 8 is above average, 9 is good and 10 is perfect. 1 to 4 are all just varying degrees of failure. 7 ends up being the average because people who fail are a minority usually, if you add up all scores then 7 ends up being the median.

It doesn't make much sense to use a the 1 to 10 scale for rating in this case because VNs or movies can't really "fail" but I guess it's more convenient because people are familiar with it. I prefer the 5 star rating myself.

Debatable. More writing doesn't necessarily mean higher quality writing. LNs simply use more words to explain the story and character's thoughts which is maybe why you feel the writing is higher quality.
Personally I haven't noticed any major difference in quality between LNs and manga (most of them start as web novels to begin with which are fairly trashy).
It's only when you get to actual novels like Shinsekai Yori that the difference in writing quality becomes noticeable.

Here's how I did it. I read a route in Act est Fabula first. Then after that, I went back and ctrl'd through the same route in Amantes Amentes only stopping if there were any different scenes. After completing the route, extra stories unlock in AA so I read those. After that, I went back to Act est Fabula and started the next route. One somewhat exception to note is that Rea has an extra ending in AA which you definitely want to save for last. So after you 100% Act est Fabula with Rea, switch over to AA again for good and finish everything.

Off the top of my head, I think Kasumi just fades to black instead of sex so it's exactly the same. Kei gets one scene turned into bloodsucking instead if that interests you (some of the dialogue is exactly the same from the 18+ version). There's kind of an amusing part later where the narration still assumes you're in the classroom (from the 18+ version) but Ren is actually on the school roof which ticked my autism. I think Marie is just a fade to black so it's exactly the same. Rea has some kind of major changes (it's more like omitted details than changes though) at one part with regards to Bey for unclear reasons. Also they still use the CG of Rusalka giving Ren a footjob for some reason. I admittedly didn't pay too close to the dialogue at that part but I think it was mostly the same minus the explict sex talk.
