You are now realizing that Satsuki's events in the Akiha route were in fact the best part of said route. That said, if she got her own route, she would either catapult to the top as the best heroine in the game, or lose all credibility and wind up as the worst instead.

Since her route in the remake is as confirmed as is can be with the little we know, we are going to see one of these outcomes in time. The only question is 'which?'. I'm personally hoping for the first outcome, but all things considered, I'm pretty much expecting the second.

So what do you hope for /jp/? An awesome route that blows the others out of the water? A terrible route that destroys her character?

Nasu removed her route from the game because it overshadowed the other near side routes.

So it was porobably a decent route.

I think it would have been good.

I don't really think there is room for a middle ground in this case. If her route had been released in the original game, that's one thing. But given that her route is going to be the only 100% new (presumably) content in the remake, alot of expectations are going to be placed on it do deliver.

Given the fact that the route is going to place Shiki in opposition to Ciel and possibly Arc, in addition to Roa and Chaos, and pretty much anyone else that might know the truth about her (like Akiha), the route is going to be very intense.

Even if the route is merely 'average' in its final iteration, that is going to make it a failure in people's eyes.

Didn't quite finish that thought. A lackluster route will be a disappointment to most of the readers, given it was one of the remake's major draws. So, it's really an all or nothing shot for her route to be a success.

In this case people have been anticipating the route for so long that anything that doesn't absolutely delight them is going to come off as a major letdown. It's like what happened when Daikatana came out. Daikatana was a decent enough game, but it sure as hell wasn't making anyone John Romero's bitch. But the game had been so hyped to hell and back that people wouldn't settle for anything less than perfection, and when their expectations weren't met, they didn't take it well. There's a strong chance that, because people have been anticipating Sacchin's route for so long, that they might have irrationally high expectations for it, and irrationally high expectations can be hard to meet.
