I'm not good enough to play Touhou entertainingly for someone sadly, and she wouldn't be able to really play them either. She just sees the characters from touhou stuff I get and I explain the lore to her, and she really likes some of them. I've been trying to think of some print works that would be entry level and easy to understand

My father is the type that doesn't really get new things all that much, he basically only watches TV and we really don't talk all that much.
My mother does know more about games but it's more surface level, not sure why i would tell her about touhou.

Not exactly. When I get a new figure/cd/poster/etc, they usually ask questions about the characters, so they started to recognize some, like Remi. Sometimes I explain some connections between them and some random pieces of lore. Apparently they liked the core idea of the franchise, but no interest in going deeper.
