Anywhere but Iga. Miko Institute is probably the best idea since you get Natori, 11 SAT, and a free affection level up for Rance; the only downside is that it puts you next to Uesegi and Kenshin may decide you've conquered too many people, resulting in war with you and allowed Takeda to auto-conquer Houjou.

As for Akashi self-destructing, reload to your previous turn and declare war on Mouri. In fact, if Mouri always destroys Akashi, try to go back to your first action of that turn and just declare war on Mouri while ignoring everyone else.
