Why hasn't ZUNs art seen much (if any) improvement all these years?

Does he even practice?

Contrast that with Ryukishi07, who's art is actually awesome now.

It wasn't necessarily me caring about the art much, I just find it odd it hasn't improved much since he's been working on the games for so many years. And I thought with the criticism of the art, that may cause him to practice. I guess he just doesn't care though...

Zun's art in the first 5 games was really awesome for PC-98 platform. After moving to Wndows, Drunken Master certainly experienced a form of culture shock. And I don't blame him for that. You also can't contradict the fact, that in Th12 his art gradually improved.

I play Touhou for the danmaku and music (in that order) anyways. It's always nice having an excuse to play games that have ``loli anime girls'' appearing on my screen every so often because the actual gameplay and music is mind-blowing.
