I understand your frustrations with the /jp/ community, and in fact, I also have a confession to make: I become deeply upset when people here post - or even just allude to - Touhou pornography. Touhou has become a major part of my life. It has helped me through difficult times, has shaped my life philosophy, and has done far more for me than other people ever have. However, those who hop between cheap pornographic thrills without settling on a favorite or exploring the primary content of the series are rightfully scorned. That is also a more normalfag way of interacting with the series.
And as for your final point, I will turn your logic against you. If you want to discuss touhou in a non-lewd way, you are much better served by making a thread for that purpose. I am all for fragmentation - containment zones are successful and ideally - on 4chan - this should take place on the thread by thread level. I will see those non-lewd threads as rather disappointing since I find women to be a bothersome presence, but there's not much I can do about it. Of course there were complaints about the secondaries who only cared about porn, but it was less about the porn and more about the secondaries. I don’t believe they suddenly and randomly became empowered all of a sudden but rather - a new element has invaded. And I have seen plenty of evidence that it is women. And the behavior I’ve seen lately is perfectly in line with the same sort of women who occupy twitter, discord, tumblr, crystal cafe, etc and absolutely hate the concept of men seeking comfort in 2d. Needless to say, they are the enemy of anyone who seeks to enjoy otaku culture as a true means of escapism, since their bitterness prevents them from allowing others to simply enjoy things even when it is at no threat to themselves.

It is getting worse, I’ll admit, but there are still passionate people who post in these threads.
