FGO anniversary is July 31st but they always delay their anniversary related content by 1 or 2 weeks for whatever fucking reason. Extra Record announcement was during Extra's own anniversary, July 22nd. It was for the 10th anniversary of Extra. FGO doesn't usually have news for other Type Moon works, except during New Years.
I hope there's more news for it soon though. I want to preorder the limited edition of Extra Record already.

yeah the main reason i really remembered roa was simply for his unexpectedly sarcastic tone. he goes from stabbing ciel and cutting her head off to then talking about how much of an asshole makihisa was to him, joking along the way. i was supposed to be taking that scene seriously when ciel was crying "tohno-kun!" over and over but i couldn't help but laugh because of what roa was saying alongside her pleas. it was unintentional black comedy.
i never felt his beef with tohno was personal, that was all SHIKI, roa himself has nothing to do with tohno and so he felt a bit detached as a villain. in arcueid's route, roa is just some random mummy guy who fights tohno and gets permanently obliterated in the exact same scene, the same way nero was obliterated. just made me wonder what the fuss was about that guy if he was so easily disposed of, most of the time he's just a spirit that makes you crazy and other times he shows up just to die in the same scene. gilgamesh has nothing on this guy's losing streak.

Extra was supposed to be handled by somebody else and then he took over because he can't keep his jewish hands out of anything. Rin for example was supposed to be her own character very different fromt FSN Rin, but Nasu thought that was stupid and deleted all that.

CCC literally only exists because he was upset about heavens feel and had just finished playing Bayonetta, the game even was supposed to have shit like a gigantic giantess boss fight but it was scrapped because of hardware limitations.
