Bombing the shit out of DDC stages to schlorp all the [P]s turned out to be really helpful. Made it to Seija but then got filtered and wasted my last continues during midget fight. Vertical flip and giga hitbox are the most painful spellcards.

Vertical flip is easy; same as the horizontal flip, you just have to keep up a mantra reminding yourself of the controls at every moment.
Shinmyoumaru can be fairly challenging, but with a good shot type and bomb like ReimuA, she's not too bad.

For SA on Normal, I went the first three stages without misses and bombs, then used only two or three bombs on stage 4. On DDC I can also go the first three stages without misses and bombs, but I need to bomb skip the fuck out of stage 4. Stage 4 in that game is brutal compared to stage 4 on SA. If you're Marisa you just have to follow the gaps in the circles and not run into shit, that's how every guide and video seems to do it. If you're Reimu then you can do the same thing or try to abuse a few very small gaps near the bottom. I definitely consider it Flandre's hardest spell.

I'll give you a tip for the second spell card, don't press up or down, the card can be dodged by moving only left and right. However, if I am not mistaken, the card is RNG based so you can't route it. I can post a webm if you want. Maybe that will help. I typically bomb skip the first, third, last spell card. That's an absolute madman strat, and I'm pretty sure it's harder to pull off than simply doing the card as intended.
The card is static and also perfectly straightforward; you just follow the gaps in the rice bullets around in a circle, alternating counter- then clockwise, resetting to the bottom between waves. Though it might seem scary, it's actually better to stay relatively close to Flan, since you'll be able to make smaller, slower movements, which reduces your chances of slamming into bullets while trying to keep up with the gaps. It can take a bit of practice to find the exact right distance and movement pattern to not get clipped, but once you're used to it, it's a pretty reliable cap.

You can combine both strats. In fact it's easier than using either one on its own. Go around her once and by the time the second wave starts go slowly to the bottom while shooting at her directly. Reimu B can capture the card before she even has to go through any of the tiny gaps if she's at max power, but you need to make sure you get as much damage as you can during the first part, otherwise you may need a tiny bit of micrododging. Dunno about Marisa though because I literally never use her.

it's not that difficult to pull off since the spellcard is static and you can do it in less than 10 taps, but I wouldn't recommend it to those still not fully comfortable with eosd's lack of visible player hitbox.
plus it's more fun to solve MoL the proper way the first few times around. really only recommended if you've done eosd extra so much by now and you become sick of doing that spellcard and want to get it done ASAP.

Two questions

1 Does the backdoor have a limit or a recharge or something? I was using it as a shield and then I could've sworn a few shots passed through and killed me.

2 This is the bigger question, how the fuck am I supposed to use vampire bite to drain spell cards? Any time I try it I just get killed point blank barely after putting the attack out. This is apparently the most overpowered card so I’d like to stop being a retard with it.

1. Pretty sure it doesn't, there's some space between the character's hitbox and the back door so probably a bullet coming from the corners hit you.
2. When you activate that card an animation should start where it is charging the dagger/fang, you are neither invincible nor dealing any damage at that moment. When the dagger/fang appears in front of you, you will deal an insane amount of damage for a short time, it also can erase any bullets it touches so you may even use it as a shield. Use the stage practice if you need to get the timing right.

The Vampire Fang does a lot of damage, but it's not a free win. You have to sit a small distance in front of the boss for the short duration of the attack. Since the Fang clears bullets, the boss will not have a direct line-of-sight to hit you, but there are plenty of attacks that fill the area close to the boss with bullets that do not travel directly from the boss, and these can hit you from the side.
On the other hand, the majority of spells are fairly free to hit with the Fang, since they have long enough openings at the start of the spell card for you to sneak in your attack; you gotta use your game knowledge here to figure out which attacks to rush up to the boss at. Learning the timing of course also helps, since it lets you retreat as soon as the Fang ends, but it'd only really be helpful for spells with tight timing windows, and you might wanna do those legit anyway, since it'd be risky to Fang them.

Also, you can fang during bombs. I'm not sure if the damage to the boss is reduced during bombs, but it's something to consider.

If I'm Reimu C, I think my biggest issue is reacting to the lasers during the red and purple ball section fast enough, dodging the red and purple balls during the second part of the pattern when they're flying everywhere, and the stage overall. If I'm Reimu A, the stage is basically free but the boss fight goes on forever. I've gotten up to the homing explosion part of Rika's pattern once and I have no idea if that's the last segment.

The lasers are too fast to react to, or rather, if you try to react you'll bump into an orb, so ideally you should be shooting at her face for no longer than 3 seconds, and then move through the gaps of the red/purple orbs to the edge of the screen, go back and repeat. It's easier said than done, so bomb spamming is also an option, after all, personally I think the battle gets easier after that phase. It's kinda hard to explain, but there's a safespot when the orbs fly everywhere, check pic related. You're almost at the end of the battle though, it's mostly homing explosions, but nothing you can't react to if you slowly move from side to side, or up and down. Just to save you some trouble, Rika does a suicide attack when you kill her, so if she starts blinking move away immediately.
Remember that mashing Z will boost your fire rate.

It depends on the game, but one of the most important things is figuring out optimal ways to gather resources. What I do is practice blind for a while, see how far I can go without using a continue, then study possible exploits or sweetspots on other people's videos. As long as you know what to expect and have enough resources you should be able to do it with a few days of practice, but keep in mind that taking a break is also important, there's nothing to gain if you end up playing frustrated.

Not sure what you're having trouble with in 7, but stage 4 is just nonstop streaming and basically trivial if you memorize enemy spawns. Several of Youmu's patterns can be misdirected.
11 doesn't really get hard until stage 5, but without knowing any specific part you're getting stuck on, I can't help any more than suggesting that you watch some replays. Several spell cards become unnecessarily difficult if you don't know the right way to do them.

Made it to penis enlargement spellcard in DDC with Reimu A, I think it's the furthest I managed to get so far. Probably could've lasted a little longer if I didn't fail to catch 2 life pieces earlier. Had one bomb left but this hitbox fuckery is so janky that I rarely manage to react before getting hit.
Spent most of my attempts dying on Sekibanki's last spellcard and restarting. Sometimes I get lots of space to maneuver around, sometimes I get stuck in a tight gap between walls with only way out being right into laser. And fucking sparkles on the edges of the walls making it a gamble if I'll manage to squeeze between them or not.
Even without final gimmicks there's so much annoying and frustrating bullshit in this game.

Sounds like you need to be more proactive. With bombing, with auto-collecting, with your movement during spell cards.
Dullahan Night should be no trouble at all. Look ahead for an area that's going to be safe and move there before she fires the lasers, then either stream them or (since I'm assuming you're on Normal) simply stay still and they'll go around you. If you do stream them, keep track of which side of the screen her head is on and which way it's moving, so that you can stream in the right direction rather than getting even more trapped. And if you end up in a bad spot, just bomb, it's really not a big deal in that game. Being one bomb down after stage 2 is barely worth noticing, certainly not worth resetting over.
You Grow Bigger will always be bullshit, but again you just have to proactively use bombs rather than risk trying to cap it when you have them in stock.

Yeah using bombs it's probably so, but in terms of capturing it definitely seems harder. You usually get like a couple seconds (at best) below the boss after each misdirection, and during that period Marisa is able to hit with the bulk of her shot, but in the case of Sakuya your shot is completely misaimed and by the time you aim properly your time is already over and you have to be at the other side. Most of the damage doesn't even come from the time you get to be under the boss but from the damage you get in the split second you change directions, and a bit more if you hold focus and try to go as slowly as possible to the center, which is still about just a second. And even then, because of the very little time/space you have to aim your shot, the bullets end up spreading out quite a bit so the damage is reduced even more. After practicing it for a while my capture history with both of them is still awful, but it's somehow still much better with Marisa.
I was thinking in the context of a NMNB extra stage run, by now it looks like the only saving grace would be melting her HP at the very beginning with Saki's card+Centipede+Remi's fang (assuming active cards are allowed) and then hoping for the best, cause otherwise it seems extremely hard to get past that card

I'm not sure(only played 16 once, never played 17, everything past 11 is hazy), but that's the point of Marisa, since she's the forward focus type; lack of range, made up for by power. But I can tell you for a fact that Master Spark keeps getting weaker and whereas it used to be crazy strong it is now outclassed by bombs it visually seems like it should not be. Her unfocused spread is nice for stages and tracking focused shot is usefull for bosses.

Beat Suwako's extra. I can see why people say her extra's one of the easiest, beat it on my second try that sitting (though I had practiced a little bit before that). Koishi's on the other hand is brutal, people weren't kidding it being one of the hardest. I think I can do it if I practice it enough but I think I may move on for now and try beating up Nue, she doesn't seem too bad.

I fucking suck at the game but at least I can complete 1cc normal mode of most of the games with some grinding and practice and not much trouble

UM takes a bit of getting used to. Unlock all three slots, grab the dog, find an active you're comfortable with, and then either buy lots of equipment or try to get a decent passive combo going. Or you could get lucky and find the feather in shop when you have enough money, which is essentially a free clear.

It also helps that the gap between difficulties isn't that big (Lunatic is hardy worse than Hard, Hard is hardly worse than Normal), the stages are short and very route-able, and Chimata's final spell can be bombed out.

I would really not recommend starting with Fairy Wars if you're totally new, since it plays very differently from the others, so at best it won't help you get better and at worst it might give you bad habits.
You can set starting lives in 6, 7, and 8, but Easy mode has almost no bullets to begin with; rather than starting with more lives, you should get a grasp on the basics, otherwise no amount of lives will help you.

Was doing high damage runs for fun with each character and something felt off about the times - specifically Reimu and Sanae felt disproportionately strong - so I went and checked each character individually with and without centipede. Use continues to unlock stage in practice mode. Use practice mode to practice the later stages.
Learn to identify things you struggle with that you could get consistent at with some practice, and things you struggle with that'd take a lot of effort to get consistent at. If your goal is to 1CC, you should bomb the latter things. You'll slowly improve your bullet reading skills and muscle memory, and the things that seemed impossible will eventually become possible.
