Islamic point of view

According to the Qur'an, Iblis (the Arabic name used) disobeyed an order from God to bow to Adam and as a result was forced out of heaven and given respite until the day of judgment from further punishment.

When God commanded all of the angels to bow down before Adam (the first Human), Iblis, full of hubris and jealousy, refused to obey God's command, seeing Adam as being inferior in creation due to his being created from clay as compared to him (created of fire).[14]

Tzeentch - God of hope, knowledge, freedom, ambition, magic, change, insanity, and gaining power at all cost. He frowns upon petty morality and favours those who want to lead everyone on path of spiritual and technological progress.
Slaanesh - God of art, astheticism, perfection, beauty, mindless self-indulgence, drugs, sadism and hedonism. He frowns upon simple people who enjoy small things in life and favours those who are always hungry for stronger feelings.
Nurgle - God of love, family, safety, plagues, and stagnation. He frowns upon egoists who treat other poeople like tools, and favours those who spread their diseases just to make more people join their ranks.
Chaos is neutral. If it first presented itself to people of the old world, who had a relatively easy life and thus were relatively good people, Tzeentch would be known as god of knowledge, Slaanesh as god of art, Nurgle as god of love, and Khorne as god of valor. But because it was first discovered by people from Norsca, where living was unbearable and people had to act violently to survive, Tzeentch became god of mutation, Slaanesh god of hedonism, Nurgle god of diseases, and Khorne god of slaughter.
