After becoming an exchange college student in Japan, I can tell you one thing for sure. Japanese girls are much prettier than your average Amerikkan. Most of the average Japanese girls look reasonable. Of course they arn't going to be perfect but they are much better than your average Amerikkan girl.

Beauty is probably about 10% natural looks and 90% how one conducts and presents themselves. Girls at my school in America would come to class wearing sorority t-shirts, large sunglasses, and Ugg boots, their hair lazily tied back and Starbucks cups in their hands. In contrast, most Japanese girls (who aren't wearing uniforms) really make a concentrated effort to appear presentable, even in the early morning. Well-chosen outfits, cared-for hair, carefully applied make-up, etc. I don't think it's even a matter of racial preference for most people: it's just that Japanese girls care about being ladylike while Western girls don't.

My first trip to Japan was with the Navy a few months back and unfortunately all the Japanese women that I met were complete sluts since I didn't have the knowledge or freedom to go off too far and the only place I could go to was the nightclub scene with other guys from the navy.

Maybe it's got something to do with thier mostly healthy (albeit high sodium) oriented diet consisting of fish, rice, and miso soup. As oppoosed to greasy french fries and heart stopping hamburgers, or spagettis, and especially cake that Amerikkan girls usually eat. I think it comes from small differences like that, and also the fact that most average girls in japan walk from place to place whereas american girls use their car, and thus they get more exercise. And the fact that most Japanese girls routinely have had to clean the classroom before lunchtime recess in elementary/middle/high school. Amerikkan girls on the other hand... or even Amerikkan dudes who go to Amerikkan schools don't really have that kind of custom with the janitor system and all. I think it's those small things that makes Amerikkans and Japanese look so much differently. Although there is a plus alpha variable depending on how physical/mental thier hobbies are.
