I know a bit about wiring of electronics, that experience coming from bringing many headphones and controllers back from the grave, even if only temporarily.

I can understand and (often) resolve software issues.
This may sound kind of vague and not such a big deal, but the reality is that most people are pants on head retarded when it comes to how things work.
Most of the time the user will just blame it on a virus or windows "just being windows", but 9/10 of the time the fault rests solely on the user, usually doing some shit he wasn't supposed to.

Windows does not fuck up near as much as people like to joke about.

But let's say that it is the fault of a virus.
That means they went online and went to some shady site and got it.
Users fault.

It's mostly just the result of growing up around electronics and without many friends. I think most of those skills apply to all of us. To a normalfag, saying you bought your computer in parts and built it yourself will impress them, but who the hell here doesn't know how to do that anyway?
