This was supposed to be Crone's route, but she just gets taken out easily. And the worst part is that it just gets skipped over so we can focus on Noa. Shaon doesn't break down crying over having killed his lover. He doesn't make a vow to take revenge or anything. It just skips over it like it's not a big deal, and then in the next scene it's like "Yeah I guess Crone's gone, but she'll be back. Now let's discuss backstories". Like what? I'm actually furious that it's wasting my time like this.

Only in chapter 1 of 3 and i'm definitely enjoying it and i hear chapter 2 is even better but i wouldnt put it at the level of chusingura especially since it lacks "routes" with the historical characters while the actual heroines arent nearly as interesting, also battles arent as cool cause bows were the main weapon in the period though the few melee fights are better on a production level.

Idk how it compares to miburo though since i didnt read it.

I know of is this kamige, Yukikaze, and Ubai Ending which has it as a bit of subplot, but surely there's more.

more reviews I read about wagahime the more I’m convinced that narou and LNs in general absolutely owned and sank this medium so hard.

was the same with sorc alive and it’s same with wagahime yet the truth is that these stories are nothing like top narou titles, these authors want to be like popular narou authors but it feels as though they got beat at storytelling, worldbuilding and various other departments long ago by these amateur authors and now are just trying to mimick them desperately yet it doesn’t work that well.
VN authors just don’t seem to have that vision, imagination anymore to even make their own twist on narou type stories, or maybe they were hacks and never had them in the first place.

Although to be fair the main cause for this is the lack of new blood and new writers yet nobody wants to jump on a sinking ship. There was a time when LNs were being influenced by this medium and now look how the tables have turned lol

is there anyone that has managed to make floralia + run on win 10
those jews have a win 10 compatible version on dlsite BUT OBVIOUSLY they have not released a patch to make the older release work as well
also apparently the non + version works but is nowhere to be found
i tried trying to make it run with olly but im just too much of a computer incompetent to do it
i got the stuff in the screen from a crash dump file that ONLY appears if i try to run it with locale emulator for some magical reason

Total shot in the dark: Maybe you could try turning off various ASLR features? You can do this in the Windows Security -> Exploit Protection -> Application Overrides settings.

An incomplete work would imply it had the good old "our fight if from here on out". Wagahime is just a mess. The Empire route is genuinely boring, a cast which lacks any charm and a lame heroine. The Commonwealth was a bit of a step-up since I liked Erin's goon squad even with Shuka's out of left field mummy-play and Erin was pretty fun herself, even though Takahiro really fumbled the competent politician character-type. Crone's route is a straight up insult. For starters, it's not her route, it's the grand route. It's been mentioned before but the flashbacks are egregious and he managed to fuck up what could have been a really emotional scene by cutting it extremely short and skipping to an epilogue. I don't know what they can do with a FD with the story's shitty overarching plot, unless it gets immediately solved in the next game by a new faction or some shit. Only thing I'd like is if they actually had some heroine focused routes.

I didn't expect this level of maturity from this MC. Under all the shimoneta, so far I am enjoying how the writer views imouto characters beyond the fetishy scope of it all. Of course that's one part of it, but you can't deny how most imouto are written and treated as objects instead of actual characters. The common route was really comfy but after hitting Sve's route I noticed that all the interactions end up being a bit one-note. I feel like in every conversation somebody's going like "Haha! That's out Sve for you!" and it started to get a bit annoying. The protagonist not having much of an influence in the common route did not bother me, but once it started actually getting into the romance bits in the route that's when I started to feel like there were some huge problems. It's always used at the final moment to finish off the big bad and there's never been anything horrible when it's on cooldown. Maybe in the Empire's route when he was captured by Endgame but what did that lead to? him playing boardgames with Crone and Endgame doing non-significant research which had no impact other than a shy tease at the progenitor of Min. Also Erin's route where her goon squad gets attacked but none of them die or are seriously injured or out of action for long enough, literally like 20 minutes between them getting got and them coming back

Alright, I've started Lamunation, international version. Figured I could just play that, because it's cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Yeah, sure, it does support Japanese. But the version is ass. The backlog has absolute no functions (no voice replay or anything), which I'm pretty sure the original wouldn't have ditched. Instead of backlog jumping, you can now choose chapters. (all of them are free to chose, from the get go.. for reasons beyond me). They also split some Japanese lines, probably because the box wouldn't work for English, so you only see half the line while the voice continues. (fixable with "don't stop playing voice when next line has no voice, but still..) And the worst: Some of the voices and text don't match. There's been one scene where stuff was weirdly swapped around. Dunno if this is a general problem, or just Japanese. I can imagine it's a general one, as kepposhi games always had weird shit with voices, including random lines unvoiced. (had one of those in this as well already)

A shame. I don't suppose anyone would have the original on a good link around? This is.. playable. Provided the voice swap isn't happening all the time. But ugh. Of course it could also be that it has the exact same issues, in that case I'd be fine.

As for the game, coming from the doujin games you feel right back at home. The character overlap is a little scary (as in, they do resemble the previous characters quite a bit), but yeah. Dunno how you'd feel if you'd play this as your first kepposhi game though. Must feel weird as fuck, as the game doesn't do anything to easy you into his style. The doujin games work better there.

Checked out the original Lamunation Prologue, and pretty much all the problems of International are actually just in that. The only thing I'm missing is a voice repeat function outside of the backlog (International has that), but no voice lines swapped, and none missing either. Just minor volume issues, but I don't remember if they were in the other version as well, and I'm not going through that again.

Also I wonder how the fuck they managed to make the International version use like 30 times the CPU power than the normal version. They ported it to Kiri Kiri, but that engine isn't doing that. Talk about a shoddy product.
You get what you pay for. At least it's cheap in Japan as well, and not suddenly 7k yen.

True. But as always, it needs a story and character to accompany it. Renge barely was a thing before. It's pretty common that when a side character becomes a main character, they rapidly drop in popularity, because headcanon is always going to be different, and expectations can't be fulfilled.

I didn't care too much, but as someone actually looking forward to Renge getting her game, the game was quite disappointing for that. The first major arc was fun in itself, but what then followed.. nah. And as a Renge game it generally was a let-down. I can see how the other girl has more fans.
