You could try using Kenshin, to reduce the amount of moves Demon Army troops have.
Or use tactians and win with Battle Cauge.

Tacticians have "spells" that move the advantage gauge and advance time. Protect the tacticians with foot soldiers.

See that cauge on top of the screen? When it passes the half-way point, you win even if all of the enemies aren't defeated. Some tacticians have the skill to make it move.

I suggest a restart. Don't worry, it's pretty much normal to mess up on your first play-through.

I've managed to kill every single one of them with this party. Assassination works on Shogun, it's a pretty good trick
