First you get Arc true end, baaaww, and think that it is as sad as it can get. Then comes Ciel's route and you learn all the horrible things that were done to her. After that, Akiha's route, where there isn't even a good end, so more baaawwing. Then Hisui which results even more baawing. And then, finally, at the end you get the sweet end with Kohaku.
